the gun brushes are so useful!!! I just moved to the beach side and keep flying my drone all the time. No matter how careful I am, sand dust keeps getting in the propellers and cracks!!

Hey David, I think a small air blower like the Giottos would make a great addition to your kit as well. I find it useful for removing dust particles on camera gear. Love your videos.

Loved the video. Had to laugh (with you) when you talked about the iPhone falling on your face! Needless-to-say, after watching, I went shopping in the Amazon for the phone case, Velcro straps, pop socket, head lamp, space pen, and the SPORKS! I use and love my Peak Design tech pouch for my camera tech too. I find the Anker products to be the best (psst: their cables last longer than the Nomads). I’m taking my Compagnon Element to Iceland with me. That is how I found your channel - searching for a review of the bag. So glad I did! Keep up the valuable and entertaining content.

Great video David. One big deal safety comment: Get a little silicone case for that 18650 battery!! They can be super dangerous. Due to their power density, if they are shorted, they can explode. If they don’t hurt you, they could hurt all your camera gear.

@@DavidManningvlog Yeah, lithium ions are great (I use them for lots of things), but as they say "with great power, comes great responsibility". The one you showed has a protection circuit in it that should reduce the risk of shorts, but just to be safe, wrap them up and you should be good.

Griptilain with the non serrated sheepsfoot blade has been my favorite knife so far. I get why some people like their mini knifes but they just aren’t my thing.

I love the Griptilian, but the Fastball clever blade is only 1/2" shorter and in an overall much small form factor for pocket carry. I'll still switch back and forth between them though👍

Hey David. Great video again! Love the "what's also in my pockets". Kudos to the person who asked for that extension. I would love to carry a pocket knife but in the UK (Especially in Scotland) is very frowned upon and it legally must be less that 3 inches in length. Defo grabbing a set of sporks now. The amount of times my missus and I have been stung by getting food but never being able to eat it is too many for my liking! Here's a video idea I've been thinking! Lots of people including myself have action cams but haven't invested in a proper camera (had to sell my 5D MK2 to buy a car years ago). Can you do a comparison video with small camera options for excellent photo taking. Especially when heading abroad and not being able to pack a large tech bag. Include accessories to help with photo taking (including some aftermarket lens, ND filters. etc etc). Whenever I go on holiday I always pack lighter camera gear and wouldn't push to taking a bigger camera for wandering around a new city or climbing a big mountain. But I would like to know what smaller camera options (pocket sized) would be the best option!

I dropped my airpod pros walking into work one day. Maybe a 3 foot drop. They totally shattered. Thank goodness Amazon had a sale because I was able to replace them. Now I always have a case on them. What bag is this? That carries all of your stuff.

Great video as always David! ever since I started making videos last year I found that being organized is super important as I was always fumbling around to find stuff so I made my tech purse similar to yours :P I also made my charging station and shelves where I store my lights ,tripods and other stuff. No more "Where did i put that thing?"

Oh man Bongo ties take me back. Camera were on set early one morning and waiting for the rest of the crew, sat around trying to fire bongos to hit the roof of the studio. I got it very wrong, and the wooden toggle left a bruise on the back of my hand that lasted a week. Only shot of the day to hit the roof though!

I've had it as both. Had a large bag in the overhead and the Compagnon bag under the seat in front of me (little snug, but fits) and also had the Compagnon in the overhead and a smaller sling bag under the seat. You're good to go either way👍
