It's an adjustable spanner!! I would put a rubber band around that box so it does not open and scatter throughout the bag. I make my own straps with fabric and velcro to keep things closed. I use these for wrapping up cords for power tools etc too - easy to make and cheap. You can never have too many measures. I have one one every floor and I know exactly where it is. Same as pencils. I made a little workshop in my attic, so I don't want to run up there every time I need something. Great collection.
