I run a successful wedding filmmaking company which centres around providing excellent service as well as high quality wedding films.

Awesome, love my S5. Are you a solo videographer? If not, how many shooters on your team?

Mostly I'm a solo shooter. Sometimes my wife will come along as a second shooter

Cool walk through of your kit. The Mini 3 drone is much quieter than any other drone. It surprised me how much quieter it is. Can I ask: how much, if any, do you over-expose your S5 footage?

Thanks! I don't over expose my S5 footage at all. The gamut luts I use have been designed to convert properly exposed footage to rec709. ETTR is a concept that was brought in by photographers and has crept into video for some reason but log footage should be exposed correctly to maintain dynamic range.

Thank you for this! I started doing photography professionally this year with my S5 and adore your set up. I look up to you and all the information. Only lens I dont have is a long zoom lens. How does the AF work in general on the ef 70-200 f2.8? Also what ef-L adapter are you using?

Pana for the win! I use S1, S5, GH5 with a sony on a gimbal. How many static cams do you set up, just one?

I had a gh5 and an S1 at different points. Part of my reasoning for just S5's is one type of battery and one set of lenses to carry around for the day. During the ceremony I have two cams on tripods each side medium on the couple then one in a monopod centre aisle that is also roaming to get processional and grooms reaction etc. I keep it safe during the ceremony though. Mostly locked down shots. Not the time to be creative in my opinion.

@@RoryandCasey I think the two cam setup for video is definitely genius! I’ve stripped down my kit recently because I got tired of solo shooting and carrying/stressing over so much stuff. The last two weddings I’ve shot have been my s1h all day on me & the gh5s on sticks during the ceremony and that’s it. I’ve been happy with the easier setup for sure.

@@RoryandCasey 3-4 cam setup is awesome for sure but tiring for a solo shooter. I’m happy with 2 cam setup during ceremony and 1 cam for the rest of the day.

Hi! thank you for making such great videos you've been a huge help in my decision making for my wedding film business . I Just got the gh6 and im contemplating getting rid of my Sony fx3 but im curious do you have any sample footage of reception party footage ? im just curious what it looks like with the iso performance . thanks mate for everything you do on your channel

Hey mate. I’m away from my office on holidays at the moment but if you look up RJ Visuals wedding films on KZbin all the films I’ve shot in the last two years have been exclusively on the S5 so any nighttime party shots are those. Honestly you can push the s5 a long way. I’ve shot over 128,000 iso before and cleaned it up with some denoise and been happy with the results
