Very nice. Thanks for the suggestions. I was just sitting here at my desk trying to decide on tonight's target. M8/M20 are gorgeous through eyepiece or astro camera. I live 30 minutes from a Bortle 2 campsite and love going there for the Perseids and these targets are ideal. Here in NE Nevada we have clear skies going into New Moon, 85 degrees F falling rapidly after sundown to about 50F. Should be an amazing 4th of July!

I Just recently got a Aperture 8" Dob from you guys. Thus far I really like it but I have noticed things like m51/52, 82 and other objects aren't really as clear as I wanted. I had to save up to buy it and now think I should have waited? And gotten bigger? 14" maybe? Suggestion!, put a rubber cup on the finder scope. It's taken my contact lens off many times in the past 3 months never to be found because I can't see the scope in Bortle 4. Ed Ting yeah that one, said never get into photography unless you have deep pockets and since I don't I just want to see not take a poloroid

May I also offer this, The 2" with adapter doesn't focus well on Vega, I run out of focal adjustment high. And switching to 1.25 I can't under enough to get in tight. That should make since to you. I collimate and use your tool "supplied" along with my old trusty Celestron laser and both are down the hole. Then distant star de-focus to round, You guys got a upgrade program? I find I'm using my 17 and 13 the most and my 32 1.25 so what's the use of having 2' if it doesn't hit targets?

Because it's july what's the summer month what means there's no stars in the night sky here in Northen Europe's Finland yet, but can't wait i'm so excited when august and autmn starts with the darker nights and more possibilitys for watching the night sky full of stars, happy summer season everyone! 🌆🌅🏖😎🍹🍦

If you would provide a little more detail on location (and approximate times) in the sky for us neophytes the info would be much appreciated. I (and countless others I'm sure) don't even know the location of most of the constellations you mention here...or even how to locate them. Much thanks for the cool tour .

I recommending downloading stellarium. It'll give you the locations at your location and even the specific times they become visible.
