It is filled 3.5tb/4.5tb (5tb). It is working non-stop like an internal hdd (7/24). I still got 90mb read/write on CrystalDiskmark. When it was new i was getting max 130mb read/write.

yeah just a standard crap drive using USB 3.0 interface. I think I showed they were 5400 also? I dont remember

@@bizkurt99 I have the Seagate Basic 5TB and when it got full I bought the P10 also the 5TB version. I thought, based how it was advertised and the premium price, that it will be fast. But it is not. It is exactly au pair with the Seagate, but that one was a lot cheaper.

yeah for its proper use its cool, but for hacks like me I'de love to have 2tb drives I could have just connected to a sata port. its not really a show stopper if determined. just sucks they would create a different board just for these. seems odd.

the internal drive doesnt have a SATA edge board, its made specific to the case for unknown reasons. all other internals are just sata drives in the case. maybe they did that to stop people from swapping the drive and returning it.

the board on the drive is specifically made for this case. so there is no SATA edge. you could just throw into the pc and run a usb cable to it. thats essentially the same thing. assuming you have an open USB 3.0 to plug into.

bottom line is that the circuit board is part of the sata port so no, you cant easily pull the drive out and plug it into sata
