I would like to tell my story: First off, Im Autumn I was born February 21st. I was 3 months early. Being three months early could have killed me but it didn’t. I had asthma when i was little and had trouble breathing. I did gymnastics when i was three but quit and went back when i was 6 this time at a different gym. I joined team in about a year and began level 4 I had a pretty good season my second year on team i Hurt my knee right before meet season then in the middle of the season i broke my heal but then my next competition back after my heal I pealed off the bar and hurt my neck. Some say almost paralyzed but We don’t know what it could have been if i landed in a different position. I had to fight my parents to join back in gymnastics. Then one year later I broke my big toe so i could really only do bars with this flat shoe. I got a lot better at bars and overcame my mental block then I skipped level 7 and completed level 8 this passed season was my level 8 season I did okay. I didn’t medal at all at states or regionals but i thought i did well i had 9.4s on 2 events at states and regionals and still didn’t place out of 12. Now i training level 9 and hope to inspire people that even if you fell down, don’t give up because everything happens for a reason. :)
