My silence morning awaken Outside Window winds are in the air blowing, I saw the light wave of sounds Like the loveliest pen written fulfill an empty fate The strangest words mountains of dreams, Looking out embraced everlasting life With burning mind, 💓 heart like Autumn fall, give to you the last you love Honor, anger love, that's life So far, forget me not, embrace that freaking awesome dreams Forever light Speech the 💓 heart for the short of words, And a things not seen with eyes With a green, pinky broken hope for a sweet love pillows at night. BLESSED COMPOSER.

Watching videos on KZbin, About life-changing poems for hard times, The world around me fades away, As I get lost in the words and rhymes. The words they speak are solace, In a world that's sometimes tough, The poets' lines are pure and true, Their words, they're more than enough. Each stanza's like a warm embrace, That wraps around my soul, The phrases are like lullabies, That make me feel whole. The tears that flow down my cheeks, Are like raindrops in the night, As I watch those moving videos, I feel like I'm taking flight. So I'll keep on watching videos, On KZbin, for sure, For the poems that they offer, Are a balm, that will endure.

You are so right .. it's the only way that we can keep our ship from sinking in this storm, the storm of life even before the events of this day... For we are not the first to have been tested.. here on Earth... And all of our forbarers have gone to their graves, yay... We must continue it is a mortal commandment from the highest echelon that exists in the universe.. this law of our Father in Heaven... Just strengthen fortitude.. for it is against eternal law to throw the towel in and give up...

As someone that was without a father at birth. IF by Rudyard Kipling gives me chills every time I listen to it. I have set my own example of the man I need and yearn to be. I can read this poem hundreds and thousands of times as I have and it still gives me goosebumps. The man I need to be through the good times and the bad. Bad times are here and I am going to pull through with this added strength and wisdom.

@@Michael-cq7lq I was referring to Desiderata, and I think when I was younger the words carried a tone of almost rebellion, a sort of FU to the "rulers" of society, a kind of how the world should be. Now they are more about how I should be. Never considered that before, thanks for asking :0)

This might be centred to men, however sitting in my room angry and feeling hopeless, am drinking (better that than beer) listening to these poems, am in tears but my "defeat will bury all that will die in us". "to be understood is o be levelled down" i know this was said in the video these are powerful to me and my goal is more clear to me now than ever. "I thanks the Gods for my unconquerable soul" Hail the Asier and may Odin help me in my trying times and may Tor grant me the strength and may Fryja leave my heart open to love.

That William Ernest Henley poem gave me chills! Powerful delivery! Subbed. The most evil trick ever pulled on men was convincing them that poetry was ever unmasculine, when the words of men like Emerson, Kipling and Henley have taught me more about what it is to be a man than I could have learned in a thousand lifetimes.

In full agreement with you, TJ Blaidd. And that is an understatement.. The fact that the word 'masculine' is under a cloud of late is one of the saddest occurrences since sliced bread. Just joking. But I am serious here, so make that '..since the big bang'. Honestly. The idea that striving for some honour, pride and steadfastness is considered toxic nowadays is very very unfortunate. This poetry is so powerful, has so much clout. Perhaps people shy away from it because it is so confronting, such a nose-rub telling you how meagre the catch is that you landed on the shores of the sea that is Life. Then again it must be understood (I think) that 'man' and 'men' oftentimes are metaphors, denoting or connoting 'person' or 'persons'. This is rather obvious. Poetry is all about connotation and implying the unsayable. Furthermore, one-syllable-words have special status in poetry for they are the embodiment of condensement. Also, 'person' is the least sexy word imagineable. Having said that, I vividly recall how a clutch of young teachers at a Department of English in a Northern town in The Netherlands at one time collectively scathingly dismissed the poem 'If" by R. Kipling, predominantly I felt, because of the last line. They also deemed it unbearably jingoistic. My simple take on it is that the last line is universal. An offering to all people. On a side note, I regret beyond measure how I (and many others) completely missed what, in one way or another, was made available to me at high school.

I was fortunate to come across this collection of poems after honestly feeling quite down reading about current events. I've learned of the term doom scrolling which is what I was doing reading one negative thing after another which did nothing but give me a sense of despair. I'm not saying we should be ignorant of events but often times the only news they reaches the public is negative and positivity is ignored. I've decided to doom scroll no more and instead come here and listen to inspiring and thought provoking poetry.

This is Ron Spates and I’m bringing a message of hope! Are you ready to enter the arena of change? Are you prepared to fight the fight of your life for the change of your life? If you been looking around & paying attention to current worlds events and the impact of society than you know there is a lot at stake & time is running out. People are being taken out left & right, but if you are listening to this message than you have an opportunity & obligation to change. God is building an army of ordinary people the ones that have been forgotten , the ones that have been abandoned & the ones that were not expected to Win! God is looking for new leadership because the old leadership are leading us astray! You know who you are & you are chosen for the mission of change! There’s a lot at stake and people are depending on you to have the courage to ignite change! Are you willing to give it all you got even if you fail! Are you willing to separate yourself from the others to get there? Can you just imagine having everything you ever wanted & it all came from you, you are the master piece of change because you are God’s greatest creations. Believing in yourself and having self confidence in your abilities will be the key to your success. I call upon you all to stand for healing & command change for the greater good starting with self motivation within and bold enough to share it with the world. This is Ron Spates & I live for greatness!])
