some constructive criticism, i wish the videos would have more direction if that makes any sense. I don’t mind the random videos here and there but i feel like they are recording things for the sake of it. I think if you started a series where you buy cheap dingers and make them better with izzy then sell them for profit. Use that profit to buy a better car and continue upgrading over time would be awesome. It’s difficult to keep up with whats going on as there is about 7 different things going on all at once, some things get a part 2 in a week other get a part 2 months later, I don’t want to come across as to miserable as I said I do like the videos and will continue watching, just an idea 🤷‍♂️.

If they are going to keep a load of things on the go at once, they should at least make it clear what the video is following on from. Like if you don't watch literally every video as it comes out, you would have no idea how to catch up with even just this 1 specific car. I agree the overall channel needs to be less scatter gun and more directed, but they could at least start with e.g. this being titled something along the lines of "Izzy's BMW - Episode [whatever one this is]" and THEN whatever the episode is about so we can actually follow the car's journey from beginning to end in order. Like I just started this video and I have 0 clue if this is a project car, her personal car, or just a random one off video, it really needs clarifying because I cannot be bothered sifting through the last few weeks of content to find anything related to this specific car. If anything it would make them more money because people who just started watching would actually be able to go back and watch the previous episodes in the "series".

Have seen the video thumbs, first watch of Izzy. I hope Izzy is truly a car lover and not just doing it for the views. The genuine enthusiasm her father and friends brought cannot be faked, and easily spotted. I don't mean to say she isn't learning at all, but enthusiasm for the project versus being carried through it is different. -Seems as Izzy is the same instructing a 1st year apprentice which is fair, hope she developes a true love for the mechanical.

I have an M57 730d on 218k miles and an M47 520d on 225k miles. No issues, no leaks, both sail through emissions tests, no smoke. Both cars rolling on new OEM suspension, you'd never guess the mileage by look or feel.

So Izzy shows plenty of initial enthusiasm, but as with 'her' Mini she wanders off and leaves it to anyone else as soon as it gets even remotely difficult. Taking someone from novice to competent amateur requires progression and there's absolutely no evidence of it here. I'm not dissing Izzy at all as she's being allowed to wander off and not focus. If you want to see how it's done then go watch some old CarThrottle videos where they make Ethan take the same Project Car journey and he was doing full engine removals by this stage. Poor execution of DriveTribe videos is creeping in and it's tough to watch.

For future endeavors, Izzy you need to tie your hair up or secure it otherwise. In case you wish to keep it. Not only will it get tangled in bits, it will get tangled in spinning bits and burns off from oil and solvents. Izzy right off you put your finger in a socket to remove the nut. If the trigger gets pulled it will tear up the end of the finger due to the threads are sharp. If the gun is in the proper direction you can actually run the nut onto your finger which I saw someone do once, not pretty!
