Wonderful vedio, I have a doubt. You cut off the top of the shock with an angle grinder, how do you put it back is it welded, do the parts inside get damaged during welding,is welding safe with oil inside or is oil poured after welding

good and informative video. I just have an additional thoughts. When using angle grinder, do not let the sparks go away from you because in some instances it is not controlable. While if the sparks are coming to you, you have a better handling on your tools. Unless you are good and you know the risks. Beleive me, I seen a colleague cutting the back of his palm doing that style.

I did not seal it . i opened it so to install a Bilstein 32mm insert my friend !!!!!

You never put the shock back together after grinding it to disassemble. I don't follow how this is a homemade bilstein shock?.
