My honest opinion : dharavi people should not interrupt the process of redevelopment. All this years people keep migrating & make a mess. Half of them don't even own the land & blames government for it. Well no doubt they were free votes for the local politicians. Why people don't migrate out of dharavi in 10k rent there are much better places in India. Because from my understanding there should be a stong driving force to get out of the place considering all the medical problems that can happen with their children so basic human emotions to protect their child should kick in. I am very curious to know the reason they still continue.

Because of free encroachment, muje toh lagta hai ki usmein dharvi mein sirf half hi rent dete baki all are just hustlers livin' nomads in those gullies and rooms as the actual can afford to give 10k to anyone and those who are not willing to move out are those with attached work baggage in and around dharavi most probably menial job holder jo sirf skill like sewing, knitting or collecting yehi karta hai and once out from that place usko itne skill level pe zada koi job nhi milega.
