Larger than standard infantry bergens.
Approx 150 litres, 180 with top pouch.
Heavy duty 1,000 denier IRR cordura material.
Internal removeable 5 prong aluminium frame.
Large main compartment with waterproof housing/storm hood with drawstring closure.
Buckle secured lid.
One internal pocket and one large external pocket on lid. An additional side pocket pouch can be attached to the lid with the zipper closures.
Label reads Field Pack Air Support Back DPM. There is also an NSN number which is very faded, but reads 8465-99-380-6492.
Six fixed outer pouches with waterproof housing/storm hood, with drawstring closure.
Three utility/canteen size pouches and three large pouches underneath.
Buckle flaps and water resistant drawstring storm flaps.
Padded air-mesh back spacer pad.
Wider padded shoulder straps for comfort.
Padded waist strap with heavy duty buckle.
Emergency drag handle.
Reinforced drain holes in each of the compartments for better efficiency in maritime conflicts.
Manufacture date CQC 2003.
