My Favorite tour truck yet!!! PING 4 LIFE! Great video series Rick and Company!!!

Dominic seems like a no nonsense proper student of the game personality, one you could really rely upon for the best solution. His advice at the end on normal club players getting fitted was pure Gold.

Totally agree with u on that last bit. I honestly never even thought about it that way and I've no idea why because it makes perfect sense.

Love this series, Ping invented some of this stuff that is taken for granted today. They use factory calibration equipment onboard unlike many others who use aftermarket calibrators.

This is the series we didn't know that we all needed until you released the first tour truck video. Thanks for the inside look at what goes on behind the scenes.

A proper tour truck serving it’s purpose , no PlayStations, no fancy chill out zones, purely focussing on the craftsmanship of their clubs . You get in get what you need and get out ! Great vid !

Amazing nowadays, 1984 Open St Andrews we turned up on Sunday in Exhibition Tent to display & sell scores of MacGregor Classic Persimmon Woods we had refurbished & ended up being asked by R&A to run the Practice Ground wooden hut workshop for the players, Raymond Floyd still owes me £2.50p for loft/lie his 7 Iron 😂 we frantically arranged transport from our Leeds Factory Workshop for Anvil, Loft & Lie Machine, Swing Weight, Grips, Shafts & Whipping, good old days & really enjoyed the busy week & meeting all the players👌

That's great advice at the end of the video regarding driver fitting, get fitted for your worst shot under pressure not your best shot in practice, makes perfect sense. If your driver can help you keep it on the fairway or out of trouble when you are feeling the pressure and make a less than ideal swing then your club fitter has done a great job.

Actually Dom was the first guy talking about what fitting really is for - it‘s for making the mishits not so bad. Highly interesting to listen to. Very functional truck without loads of fancy ‚visuals‘ like chillout-areas and stuff like that. I like the approach…

Love the series Rick, thank you. I have to admit that it's been a little surprising that the PING and Titleist trucks didn't really have a "Player's Lounge" area. I'm still holding Callaway truck as #1 followed by Cobra #2. Callaway rep was over-the-top wanting to show everything, very informative, and the truck was clean & organized. Can't wait to see the Kirkland truck 😁. 🤘😎

Ping does a lot very well, and I love their philosophy.. but I have had a bad experience with a custom set of irons from them. The lofts got screwed up pretty bad right from the factory and finding someone to bend a ping is impossible, club builders won’t touch them.

Do you think each of these companies watches each others videos to see the “secrets” or are they all owned by the same people and just have different names?
@yetisdeuce13155 ай бұрын
Company secrets aren't kept on a tour truck. They are in the R&D, design, and machining areas of the factory. Rick wouldn't be getting on these trucks, much less filming on them if there was anything to hide. The real secrets of a tour truck, are the fitters that work on them. The knowledge of that person to fit the club to the player is key.

I LOVE my ping driver and my new model Anser putter. But, I HATE the Ping tour truck. It’s dated. It’s bland. The player lounge sucks. Out of all the tour trucks Rick has filmed, this is the blandest one yet. You can tell Rick thinks the same by the short and bland video compared to the other tour trucks he filmed. Sorry Ping, I’d change sponsorships if I was a tour pro simply based on your tour truck. 😞
