Thank you Dan, that was awesome. To see it from a fans perspective instead of a documentary is even cooler. I was born February 6th 1964. I guess I was racing the plane coming in from London on February 7th! I'm a lifelong Beatles fan, and the city I live in in New Jersey is actually the hometown of Paul's current wife. A couple of years ago, he was wandering downtown about 5 mi from where I live. Talk about missing an opportunity in my own backyard! But again thank you for that fun trip to Abbey Road Studios

Since I Was Born In April 1962, I Was Almost 2 Years Old, When The Beatles First Played At The Ed Sullivan Show, On February 11th 1964, Wherein I Was A Month And A Half Away From My 2nd. Birthday, So I Literally Grew Up Listening To The Beatles, Being The Youngest Of 4 Siblings . . . As I Grew Up, And Entered The 1970's, As A 7 Year Old, I Decided To Listen To All Of The Beatles Albums, Which My Older Brother William Had Amassed From The 1960's, Which Included Their Let It Be Final Album, Which Should Have Been Their Abbey Road Album, Which Was Recorded At The Same Time As Their Let It Be Album, Which Was Released In Late 1970, And George Harrison's 3-Album Masterpiece: All Things Must Pass, Which Older Brother William Played All The Time, So I Was Thoroughly Programmed With Their Beatles Music, Then George Harrison's Solo Music, Then John Lennon's Solo Music, Then James Paul McCartney Jr's Solo Music, Then Richard Starkey, ( I.E. Ringo Star's ) Solo Music, So I Was A Bonified Beatles Fan From Age 2 On, And I Still Am A Major Beatles Fan At Age 62 Years Old . . . 🙂 lol . . . Rest In Peace, Jonathan Winston Lennon, And George Harrison, And Thank You Both, And James Paul McCartney Jr., And Richard Starkey, For Giving My Siblings, And Myself, Your Beautiful, And Wonderful Music Soundtrack To Grow Up With And To . . .:-) Peace Be With You . . . :-)

Visiting Abbey Road Studios and sitting inside studio 2 was otherworldly for me - almost an out of body experience. I was lucky enough to be in London at the same time a Beatles lecture series was taking place in November 2021. Right place, right time. Climbing the stairs to the control room ... seeing all the original equipment ... simply amazing, and I agree it's too bad more people can't experience it. Fun fact: I went to high school, and was college roommates for one year with, the CEO of Avid Technologies - maker of Pro Tools. We lost touch years ago, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's been there - we were both huge Beatles fans and drove to L.A. to see Beatlemania while still in HS in '78.

While I was just a kid growing up in the 60's (born 59) I really remember the Beatles. I can remember the time just before and once they hit the air waves everything changed. I can remember when their newest albums came out and started being played on the local AM radio. I also recall the news when it was announced they were breaking up. Always wished they could have produced one more album together but that was forever ended in 79. While I am not a musician in any way, I always am curious on how they old songs were recorded. Just as you talked about the modern offerings for the classic sound effects, they just aren't the same as what they used back then. Good video, and anymore Beatles content would "be so cool" to watch one day.

Ah!!! I'm so jealous! I visited London in 1988 and made it as far as getting my picture taken at the entrance of Abbey Road at the top of those iconic steps (and I still treasure it), but could not make it inside, even though I was in radio at the time. This sort of makes up for it. Love all the photos and stories and you got a couple of songs mastered at Abbey Road! Are you kidding me? Thanks for the tour, Dan! Well done!

Hi Dan. Awesome tour. I’m a photographer and had the privilege to spend a week in studio 2 doing documentary photography for Alexander Kariotis and the Rock Opera Orchestra. I was in awe as soon as I walked in the building. So much history there. It was amazing to see all that vintage gear just sitting in the hallways. Standing in Studio 2 had a familiar feeling to it. It looked just it did in all those Beatles documentaries I’ve seen over the years. I really love your channel. So many topics hit a cord with me. Keep up the awesome work! Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

"Wish You Were Here" was also recorded at Abbey Road. During the recoding a guy walked with no eyebrows and overweight. The members of Pink Floyd didn't know who he was. Then after a time Richard Wright asked who that was and it was Sid Barrett. One of the original members of the band. They had not see him in years, last time he was skinny and had eyebrows. It hit them all hard on how much their friend had changed, even Roger Waters started to cry.

Anyway back in college in the early 1980s a buddy of mine had a reel to reel stereo that he could blast and play music for the block and if you looked out the window at our parties you would see people dancing on the sidewalk. We'd just wave them up to grab a beer. The sound from the thing was amazing.
