WHAT'S IT LIKE TO STAY IN THE BURJ KHALIFA? - Armani Hotel

What is it like to stay in the world's tallest building? Today i'll take you guys along with me, and show you what it's like to stay in the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa in Dubai... quite an experience to stay the least!
I'll also show you how you can do the same for a lot less than the usual 'rack' rate.

Yes, the overview as presented is rather ordinary and uninspiring. At first glance it's not worth the room rate. I will stick with Burj al-Arab.

They are really just rooms for the guests of the residences in the building. It's mostly private residences.

I always stay at The Oberoi which is just across the way. They are extremely good to me and always upgrade me to a big suite with a patio outdoors. It looks directly out upon the Burj Khalifa and is really a sight to see. The Oberoi is the award winning Indian 5-Star hotel company with some of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen. I had a private bungalow with a garden and personal pool in Mauritius! The Oberoi Armavilas in Agra has a full-on view of the Taj Mahal! My favorite is The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur on the lake in a hundred-acre wildlife preserve. Simply some of the finest and most original 5-Star properties there are.

I second that Oberoi and Taj are way better than this. Or may be this is just an economy room this guy here is showing. Even my stay at Taj Bengaluru airport during transit was way more luxurious than this. Also, Leela palace is highly recommended to check out.

Agree with the other comments for that price, I would have expected more because the room itself looked very standard to a 4-5 star hotel. The surrounding views are nice, but would have liked to maybe seen the included breakfast or something as well. Because what I saw----hmm. Well anyway--love your vids!!!

We had brunch there and it was out of this world! Three hours later, we were stuffed! I marveled at the "pork" room all separate from the rest of the brunch stations. Would love to have had you review that meal!!!

You have to spend 15-20 minutes experimenting with the bedside controls - not worth the effort. I think I can still close a curtain or adjust the A/C by hand.

Room looks like nothing special as one might get in a Hilton or Hyatt. Wonder if hotel space is limited to the bottom wing and top floors are all condos?

Nice hotel room. Also for the record, i have started using DVDs again... Honestly it's impossible to find anything you want these days on streaming services so I've just started buying DVDs.

That's it ? You showed the rather small room, the bathroom, the spa. Doesn't the hotel have any dining facilities, a lounge, a bar, anything else ? It really is designed for a business traveler, not so much for someone who is in town on holiday.

Great tips on traveling 1st class, a dream I bet more than a few of us have. I have only one question, why did you not go to the top floor of that thing, surely they must have an observation deck the public can access or it's no point building the tallest building ?.

There are two observation decks accessible to the public. One on the 124th floor (452m) called At the Top, and another on the 148th floor (555m) called the SKY level. Both are paid experiences that you need to book for.

We stayed in an Armani suite in the Burgh, which was amazing. It had a sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and a huge balcony where we could sit out and watch the fountain and light displays. Also, if you go outside and across the way, at night, the Burgh Khalifa has a fantastic light show all over the building with music. And, before I forget, the breakfasts were unbelievable!

I’m sure it was very luxurious, but for me it had no character. I didn’t like the corridors as they felt like they’d be very claustrophobic. I wonder what the cost of the penthouses are because the view up there must be amazing. Almost making eye contact with incoming pilots.

Seems like such a waste of money. I think of all the poverty in the world, and how if wealth were spread evenly amongst all humans, no one would go hungry or go without a safe, comfortable bed to sleep in at night or a roof over their heads. Humans have their priorities backwards.

@@Trektrendy snoopy Island is further down the coast. A small resort with diving etc. Its named because the island which you swim to looks like Snoopy laying down. Nice journey to get there through the mountains. I found out about it on Google.

I understand you were staying in the lowest room they have so that was nice, however, I was not impressed with anything; not the spa, pool, detailed architecture or room. You have to stay again but be sponsored so we can see the true lavishness of that hotel including the dining.

Women in the Middle East do NOT stay in hotels unless their husband is with them. In fact, most guests are males. A lot of rich Saudi men escape the draconian "rules" in Saudi and go "play" in Dubai without their families and wives.

My husband and I went to Dubai and stayed at the Park Hyatt Dubai (a gorgeous hotel!) and got a king bed suite, no questions asked. We had zero problems being a gay couple in Dubai. Albeit we did not do PDA when there, we are a pretty obvious gay couple and were treated the same as everyone else. If you live there, that's a different story. They want the tourist dollars so they leave the gays alone as long as you aren't showing PDA. That all being said, I would not go back to Dubai. One trip was enough. Being from the US, I don't quite need to go to a mall that has the same stores as I can go to back home. Plus Dubai is weird. It is a very Muslim city that is trying very hard to be like a western city. Too mixed up for me.
