I live in Bridgewater and it's always interesting to see people talk about it from the outside in. I agree about the park system, I can hike, mountain bike and take my daughter to the park all in one short weekend or on a spur of the moment. We also got news that the city will be updating all the parks. Wouldn't hold your breath on when though. Also happy to see Ryujin sushi get a shout out, they deserve it. For commutes, it's so good that our friends and family always agree to meet out our house before leaving for a road trip.

Yes! I too live in town. I've been here since 2004 and before that was in Warren, where I also grew up. So I've been in the area forever! LOL! And my husband grew up in town! I love our parks and frequent them quite often! Glad you enjoy Ryujin Sushi too! Have you ever tried any of the other restaurants that I discussed? Anything you think I missed?

@@michellegiordano now I understand why you know the area so well, haha! I haven't tried those other restaurants but definitely will now with my wife and daughter. My wife grew up in Somerville her whole life and I grew up in Franklin Township. We both moved into our home in 2017. Has been great experience, except for the deers that devour our flowers and fruit trees lol. You gotta let us know what's your top pizza spot too. So far Russo's pizza is our number 1 with Prima Pizza right behind it.

@@BobbyBasketballl So glad you're loving it here! It's a great community. There are so many good pizza places. I live in the Martinsville section, so I really love Lombardi, Joe's Pizza and Panatieri's. I'll have to try Russo;s and Prima! Maybe I'll go a video on Bridgewater pizza places!

Hi Michelle can you comment on houses with wells as a water source in Bridgewater? Is well water "safe" there? Thanks
@michellegiordano8 ай бұрын
Hi @root123 There are a lot of homes with well water here in Bridgewater (and also a lot that have public water too). In NJ, at the time of a sale, the seller must perform a well test to check the potability of the water. If the water fails, the seller would need to install a remediation system (which are typically pretty effective at remediating the issue). Then going forward, I would recommend testing the water on a yearly basis.

Hi .. I am Nidhi from India. Our family planning to move in Bridgewater NJ. Please suggest me the best schools over there.. my son is in 10th and my daughter is in 4th. Thanks a lot in advance🙏

Hi Nidhi- your son would be going to the high school and your daughter would be getting ready to go to one of the Intermediate schools starting in 5th grade, either Hillside or Eisenhower. They are all great schools. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the schools. When are you planning on making the move here? I’d be happy to help you find a home.

How much are property taxes
@michellegiordano2 жыл бұрын
Bridgewater's tax rate is 2.079%. Somerset County tends to have lower taxes than a lot of NJ.

It’s New Jersey..... They’re too high......

@@AJ72281 You aren't wrong, but for NJ our taxes aren't too bad! That in conjunction with great schools it's a wonderful place to live!
