Tecmo bowl... My parents bought it for me for Christmas. Probably 1 Month before. I found ut in their bedroom drawer. And l opened it and played it for a Month. Don't think they knew l removed the shrink wrap lol. Aww good times.

That's hilarious because I did the exact same thing with Castlevania 3. I snuck it to my Uncle's for the weekend and then carefully re-wrapped it and then pretended to be surprised Christmas morning. It was too awesome to wait for.

in 1988 I saw in the store for the NES Godzilla monster of monsters I am a big Godzilla fan and later I even came across Godzilla 2 war of the monsters in the video store I own these 2 games and I still play them every year so they are really not going away

I had Pro Wrestling and WrestleMania as a kid on NES. I knew Pro Wrestling was the superior game, but I played WrestleMania SO much more than it. That soundtrack was great, the game play was not but it had Hulk Fn Hogan and that's all I needed

I have never sold any game or console since my first atari 2600jr when i was 5. Now 43 and a nice collection, but because a big part of it are my own games from my childhood i will probably not sell that easy I had (still have) the Wrestlemania Challenge version. Also considered a bad game but i really liked it and together with Punch Out probably my most played NES games

If I ever get rid of my games, I’m definitely keeping NES Wrestlemania. The game is hot crap, but it got me started watching WWF (partly to learn more about the wrestlers, partly to hear the music reproduced in the game, which also led to my hobby collecting WWF/E entrance music). A few months back I had my picture taken with Honky Tonk Man and Ted Dibiase with my original game cartridge…if someone had told me 35 years ago that would ever happen, I’d have said they were nuts :D

Before kid icarus was even thought of in gaming me and two of my friends created kid icarus characters story gameplay everything down to art work at 14 years old sent it to nintendo without a patent little we knew with big ideas one year later yup kid icarus oh and we beat that game in 2 days on debut we still love and hate kid icarus to this date
