Actually "the light of day" is very damaging to antique and vintage clothing. You can take them out for outings, but protect them from light and dust and store in a "cool, dry place" of course. Also, fur felt, actual fur, feathers and even leather, need to be protected from moths.

I LOVE THIS! Hats are like the cherry on the cake... I would have so much fun in her room of hats. Dressing up is like art. I am living in the wrong location for my soul expression. I need to be in N.Y. I live in Alberta Canada. When I go out I dress up the way I like... gloves and all. I had a mother come up to me in Costco to tell me her little girl, about 7 yrs old, thought I looked beautiful. I couldn't have received a better compliment. What a darling to say so. I will cherish that sweet compliment. I am inspired by these advanced style women. Thank you for expressing your creativity and style!

How dose someone keep a room like that dusted? And don't the hats collect dust sitting out. I am a minimalist, easier to clean and less to take care of
