River DH would be proud of the Stacheye student becomes the Clint teacher.. 😆. Great job brother. I got me some of them mimic plastics from a store around me. They are freaking awesome. It's a shame how much they cost though for only a couple, the walleye destroyed them and i need to get more 😂. You'd love this store though, in Mountain Home Arkansae. Aspire Outdoors.

For sure, well I know stripers are great eating if you cut out this red vein in the filet. It's really easy to do that and if they are big enough it basically gives you 4 filets per fish. Cook em up with walleye and tell your friends it's all walleye and they won't argue.

This is my first time actually commenting I feel like a lurker lol When you set the hook on the "native carp/sucker" (timestamp 13:44) you turned to your right and the shadow of you with your stache stick bent high in the sky was absolutely sick! My personal best Walleye was 17 3/4 pound. Buddy caught a 20 lb. Have caught several over 10 lb. One day I had a 10 1/2 lb on stringer. 2 boats came down the river and stopped and took pics. Before they left the guy gave me 4 rigs he invented on a cardboard tube. Called a Lindy Rig. I still have them on the cardboard tubes. Didn’t know who they were until several years later. When they were on TV.

Hey josh as someone thats from the area i definitely would not keep anything from center street, that spot is so polluted its not even funny. If your going to keeo anything from around here only keep them from farther up the river towards saylorville the closer you get to downtown the worse it gets. I won't even swim in yhe river anymore its gotten so bad

Tie off the end of the net rope to the rail. No lost net! Hook the stringer to the net hoop and lower to the water. Next hook up, pull the net in and take off the stringer. Net the fish, pull it up, put it on the stringer, hook the stringer to the net hoop and repeat McGiver would be proud

It always amazes me how much you love fishing and creating content, but you can't find a better way to release your fish sometimes. Without the fish, you'd just be a guy picking his nose. Releasing fish is something that should be done right, and take the time to do it properly.
