This Rural River Is WALLEYE FISHING HEAVEN !!! (Lost Footage Redemption)

When I found out that my footage from the last trip was basically ruined., instead of tucking my tail, I started planning redemption. Clint and I found time that our schedules lined up for a one dayer. So we set out early for a 3 hour drive into walleye country. I'm sure there's somewhere else that actually is walleye country, but this is walleye country for us. Within 3 casts I caught a bigger walleye than I did the whole first trip, which.. felt real good. Then proceeded to upgrade later in the day. Never give up.

Got one small walleye on Saturday but the slab craps made up for not catching many. Love the river fishing as that's what I do. Another banger and yes redhorse are awesome little fish.

Here in Illinois we don't catch them often. Glad to see someone they are good eating. To cold here but one day went caught a bunch of channel through them back didn't wanna clean by the time we got done. Tell Boo and the girls hi!
