Here in Illinois we don't catch them often. Glad to see someone they are good eating. To cold here but one day went caught a bunch of channel through them back didn't wanna clean by the time we got done. Tell Boo and the girls hi!

There's no seasons in the Midwest. Can fish for them all year. Personally I wish there was special regulations on harvesting them during this time.
