Okay as much as we have all had our biggest crush on almost all our eligible bachelors of the country, for me if anyone decides to get married it is still a good news. You like them so much, they have ruled on the screens at a much powerful level so crush aside, if they become married or get committed to somebody, I am always encouraging that. I love it. One thing I have to say ppl who r talking abt Sajjals look r ignoring the fact that the lime lite and praise she got from Shabana azmi to jemima they were genuinely in love with her , shekhar kapoor on stage during film screening said that he flew her in last minute and refuse to listen when she said she can’t come bec she was recovering from dengue and was thr last minute bec he personally flew her in I mean which Pakistani celeb have got this much positive praise and genuine attention ?, even her character look so clean when celeb forget the roots working in foreign projects she stay true even in mom no scenes or explicit content , I haven’t seen any single artist esp seniors wether here or overseas who don’t praise and literally fawn over her . And that’s what a Star is .

The problem with Zanjabeel asim dramas is that the premise is always diff and the drama starts off strong but come the mid drama mark the story completely unravels and becomes tedious and ridiculous. Hey Aamna and Hassan! I really adore your bond . You guys are doing fantastic job! Probably commenting for the 1st time. I had to cuz i just finished BEE GUL's drama TALKHIYAN and oh my god! Never in my entire years i have seen such a incredible story being told. Aamna it is inspired by the book , The God of small thingz , and you and hassan must watch it(its a humble request) . It is based on patriarchy , social norms , caste difference , forbidden love in pre partition setting and its protagonists are 10 yrs old fraternal twins( amazing isnt it). However it's a tragedy and is one complicated story! Its been a decade it on aired and i just discovered it now and absolutely in awe of the idea , the execution , the unfolding of events , its complexities and everything about it. Bee GUL is definitely one genius writer! You can select it for the next haute gold . it's only 19 episodes starring sanam saeed , shamim hilali , adnan jaffar , hassan niazi , hina bayat. M sure you will love it too.

I actually didn't liked Sajal's look one bit. Considering how light, glowing makeup is more popular these days her makeup was too dark with burgandy lips. Atrocious. Kaala Doriya looks same as Chupkay Chupkay, Suno Chanda etc same comedy+romance vibes... people like chill/comedy dramas but I personally think it is overrated now. Too early to say much but seeing the teaser of Kala Doriyan I just felt this first nok jhok then love concept has become very redundant and predictable. I mean sure a light hearted drama would be good but people are still huge fans of the ramadan plays and those duos, even after all these years they want a suno chanda 3, chupke chupke 2 and now humtum and Choudhary and sons 2 as well. So each fandom will have constant comparisons so the story has to be really good and different for people to like it. The houses and the nok jhok concept already do not help but lets see.

Everyone should go and watch What’s love gotta do with it!hats off Jemima Khan for this very funny, yet poignant, and wonderful telling of a love story crossing two cultures residing next door to each other yet ‘continents apart’! It has the very best of British humour, but also some deep thought provoking dialogues, and show the wonderful Muslim/ British Pakistani family in a very relatable and believable light, to also expose some of the prejudices , and indeed islamophobia which they may face! Sajal was fabulous as the ‘seemingly stereo type of a coy potential bride’, until her Mehdi night, and she was simply amazing in this role, and she is getting much praises by both English and Pakistani viewers! All the casts were amazing and to get a little treat of Rahat Fateh Ali a khan in a Sufi singing was a real bonus! Emma Thompson was hilarious, and Shabhana Azmi played it with grace! The lead actors too were just so on point! Coming out of the movie I heard some English folks saying they’d like to go and watch it again as they really loved the film! Jemima is truly a very intelligent and sincere woman, and I hope ,she makes more of these films and give some of your very very talented Pakistani actors a show case to the international audience!

What's love got to do with it- It looks great for this type of film. Rom Com is my least favourite genre for movies because they are all the same. It is a kind of love triangle that is itself not anything new. Romance stories involving South Asians with goyay are not new either eg Bride and Prejudice, Lovebirds, 7 days etc. I am not saying the movie will be bad, I'm just not over-excited about it. My only real interest is that Sajal Ji is in it and presents a positive image of Pakistan otherwise I would never go to the cinema to which this kind of movie. I have the same criticism of this film as Ms Marvel. Was it not possible to cast a Pakistani senior actor in Sajal Ji's mother's role??? I think Shabana Ji is a wonderful actor but the story is of a Pakistani family so why not hire Pakistani actors to play them?? Especially since Jemimah is citing her affection for Pakistanis as the motivation for the movie.

In Mind your language , the pakistani was the one who was purposely living on government welfare and was not willing to work . There were other Indian characters but they chose a Pakistani guy doing this unlawful stuff on purpose
