It is neither and both. It is like a project and you are the project manager, you have to notice when to adjust the idea and when to adjust the execution.. what is it lacking and where you are tweak it to find the balance for the time period.

Both. The importance of one doesn't override the other in a "fixed" manner, rather they alternate back and forth over time. For example if you're just beginning with a start up, and you barely have an MVP together... Initially ideas are going to be more important then execution, because you're going into bat against competitors and you need something to make yourself stand out. If your startup has broken even, you've established yourself as a market player now the focus is on growth. Growth means scale, scale means focusing more on the implementation / execution. Suppose you beat out all the competition and become one of the dominant if not THE dominant player for your given niche. Now you gotta switch back to ideas because other competitors are going to be right behind you nipping at your heels, and so you need to innovate.

I have a different view. Ideas might look important, but a creative mind can create lots of them in a relatively short time. On the other hand I didn't find any AI that is capable of emptying my washing machine and putting the cloths in the wardrobe. Or build something physical. From my point of view, the important thing is to identify those ideas who are worh being transformed into a product, thing or whatever. This one brilliant idea in a pile of hundreds of not so smart ideas. That is the real skill.

Yes idea first! But maybe even vision before idea? Vision gives you a North Star so you can refine your ideas as you go. But I agree ideas matter more now in the emerging age of AI. Good ideas might be harder to come by without vision because using AI looks to fit the middle of the bell curve with its answers - average, not exceptional. Using AI to write the code and build the thing - that probably gets you far enough along to get a sense of where it’s all landing. Annie Duke’s book “Thinking in Bets” talks about how we can think about executing ideas when we don’t have all the details. And sometimes you win even though it wasn’t your best hand.

as a game developer , Ai still cant execute the whole thing, or even parts of it I would say , but ofc it helps a lot , regarding ideations , AI cant even assist
