I don’t condone petty theft, but I think they overreacted here massively. It’s just coffee and it’s overpriced anyway, wherever you go. And the people who grow it are almost always underpaid

I agree! I think a hefty fine would still be enough to deter others from doing the same thing. Since he's a principal, adding community service would set a good example to students and at the same time give back to the community. As for coffee, I always brew my own at home and use fair trade beans. ☕️

I guess that depends on the principal's relationship with the students and staff. I've been lucky that every school I've worked in had really good principals who fostered positive atmospheres... I've heard absolute horror stories about other schools, though.
