This was an excellent show from top to bottom. The opportunity to see Admiral Halsey was the icing on the top. Thanks very much for posting.

This was the Cadillac of game shows. This was the best game show ever, and there will never be a better one. The list of mystery guests that appeared on this show will never be matched.

There is at least one more in existence. The one we know of has Estes Kefauver as the Mystery Guest.

I understand that, since CBS was cramped for TV studio space in the early and mid 1950's, "What's My Line?" went live from the 50th Street Theater (now the Ed Sullivan Theater, Dave Letterman's home) with an ultra-fast studio turnaround (1 or 1.5 hr, depending on year) after "Toast of The Town"/"The Ed Sullivan Show" finished its live airings there. This continued throughout "What's My Line's" monochrome telecasts. Please Confirm, posters...

Arlene Francais looked more youthful and beautiful as she got older and I wonder what brand of cigarettes John Daly is enjoying.

And John Daly smokes his cigarette. Way before we knew better.

If I didn't know any better I'd swear the first 30 seconds of this was a South Park spoof......"television's gayest game!"....I totally hear Trey's voice saying that.

second contestant: the panel got the product but not the job, they should have carried on.
