Connie is always a pleasant performer, a professional and not an arrogant-self-accentuator. I value personalities who care about other people. So 10-points for Connie❗😁

The fact that Connie Francis is not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is a crime!

Her songs were wonderful and she was popular in her day. She really was not rock and roll

I wish that song had been a success because I really liked it. Years later I found it on a cd collection of her songs that weren’t hits but should have been.

It’s great to see Alan Alda while he was staring on M.A.S.H. as a real person.

I ❤️ Connie Francis and I always loved Meredith M but I can’t deal with the maxi dresses. They were very different from a long formal that they wore on the black and white Version in the 60s and 50s. I like these maxi dresses at the time but looking back it was just a very bad idea

Maxi coats were fashionable around 1970-1971 in the Northeast.

Unfortunately that song was not a hit. Connie was great but it got very little play
@garryafter89462 жыл бұрын
we were already getting sick of the original....it was killed by overplay....and Connies version was poorly mastered....her vocals were fine....but the instrumentation seemed to be "bending".....right before this, she was trying to start a family, and had several miscarriages and was depressed......her husband suggested she go back to work because she loved performing so much....In Nov she started a series of theatre engagements, and tragedy struck while filling her first engagement....it was indeed a long road back for Connie Francis...another comeback in the early 80's was cut short by mental problems associated with the attack...fortunately, she was brave enough to try again and performed selectively and mostly successfully for many years into the 2000's

This is nothing but propaganda garbage, I couldn't watch more than 2 minutes. Syndication destroyed so many good shows.
