This was by far my favorite NBA 2K of ALL TIME! The shot aiming mechanic was incredibly frustrating at first, but after taking the time to practice, it became my favorite thing about the game! It was an awesome skill gap for those who put in the time to master! I'm so mad they took it out the game the following year. People say people were using a Zen to exploit it, but they do that every single year anyways and there's no way around Zens. People are literally still finding away to Zen on NBA 2K23 shot timing. Cheaters are always going to find a way to cheat, but for those who actually used the Shot Aiming legitimately, it made the game so much more fun in my opinion. Bring back #shotaiming!

bro this is so stupid after 2k17 when they shut the servers down you cant even play mycareer which got me really upset when i redownloaded 2k19 and the mycareer story wasnt actually there you just pick your team. The 2k19 story was so good imagine how much hard work it took for the devs to make it just to be shut down 2 years later

My only complaints on these games is because you cannot play the story mode off line. You can only play generic modes like my NBA or my league. Those are the only two accessible modes that you can play on but not my career they used to do it with the story mode in 2K 17 but then they just stopped using it until 2K 18 and 19 came around pretty sad how 2K has changed throughout these years. I really hope that they do step their game up maybe to get 24 might let us be able to have off my my career experience with the story mode. I hope that’s what they’re going to try. to go for, but if not, I’m not buying a game

@@SaintOtto3k Yeah and it’s almost like you have to have online service for a story mode tattoos accessories goggles, the rip Hamilton facemask and LeBron James facemask. I’ve been talking about this for years and still 2K hasn’t fixed it. I hope that it gets fixed when 2K 24 arrives hopefully we do not have to have online service just to do everything everything.

Love your channel. You’ve answered a lot of questions. I’ve been playing these games for years and now my kids play them So we’ve established that roughly after two years NBA 2K23 will shut down the servers. You will no longer have access to my career or myteam. But if you’re on a PlayStation 4, you will have access to playing off-line in my league. Is that correct? Sometimes I like to just chill and play a playoff bracket verse old school championship teams in my league off line. Theoretically, that should never go away correct. Sorry for the long winding message and I appreciate all of your content

So 2k23 I would expect to be similar to 2k21 with myplayers in my video I showed that basically it does not work it will give and error saying need to be online to enter “insert game mode here”

@@SaintOtto3k For the hell of it I reached out to the 2K 23 support staff and asked the question. They said turn off Wi-Fi and see what happens and that’s basically what you will get when the servers go down. I like this game until football season. I’m ready for a college football game again. Have a good one brother.

So what it boils down to is you're wasting your time your money to play a game that has at best a two-year life span. I miss the old days, where if you bought a game 20 years ago you can still play it but with the dependence on the internet everything game wise is temporary.

2K graphics has downgraded since NBA 2K21. 2K21 had the best graphics out of any 2K on next gen so far. Truly peaked

I got a question. I'm replaying 2k21 PS4 version with my PS5 so all the save data is gone, basically playing from the ground up. I noticed that the roster is that of before the season even began so the 2020 rookies aren't there yet and McGee is still with the Lakers for example. Do these rosters no longer update to the final roster of that season? Am I stuck with playing 2k21 without Ant and Melo?

So if you didn’t download 2k21 before the server went off on your ps5 then that roster update would not be available. You would have to update manually

Yea you can. It’s no meter that shows up tho. To see your takeover progress you have to press LB/L1 on defense. If it’s full you can still click to activate
