This week we have special guest Ed Dressel from Colorado. We look at the new Intermountain GP 16's. Joshua shares progress on his new modelbuilding studio. Steve shows some of his favorite Lionel trucks. Ken gives an update on his layout construction this week.

Steves comment on 3 rail trains sets was really on point. christmas of 1947 santa brought me set number 1432 new york central passenger train. by late evening i got to run it i guess dads and grandpas have to make sure all is well before you get to touch it.

Great show. Regarding the scale talk, 0 scale was the original scale the UK model railways started off with and Hornby and Bassett Lowke were the main suppliers of locomotives and rolling stock. It wasn't until the later on in the late 1930's that Hornby created a slightly smaller scale that ran on H0 scale track but the locomotives scale had a slight enlargement of scale to create 00 scale. 00 scale is now the most popular scale in the UK, with N scale possibly the second favourite and 0 scale the third favourite, especially now more ready to run items are now available. New emerging scales becoming popular in the UK are 009 which is 00 scale narrow gauge and TT:120 scale a scale that sits between N scale and H0/00.

I love your show, but why do you only show h.o. and sometimes n scales? You don't need a new rr to show new O scale and everything else you don't really cover. You are not covering 1/2 the scales. You are not covering well over 1/2 the hobby!

Much less than half the hobby. HO and N are the most popular so naturally they’re covered more.

​@nicholasgifford23 we have the same thing in the UK as we have 00 gauge (which is a H0 equivalent but slightly larger scale wise) and N scale that are the most popular scales talked about. However 0 scale in the UK is starting to get more publicity as manufacturers of UK outline models are creating more ready to run 0 scale models, but 0 scale has limitations due to its size. We also have TT scale that has also made a comeback which is a scale between 00/H0 and N scale which is starting to gain some popularity.
