To me Pottery Barn is a Restoration Hardware want to be. I have purchased some PB over the years and they are classic pieces. I don’t buy much and always on sale. Never been sorry. I just found this channel as well. I’m in same boat as commenter living hours away and love the shopping tour with relaxing music. Hats off to your channel!

Thanks for the walk through. Pottery Barn always has some unique pieces. Prices are high but if you watch for sales or buy a specific piece to use as a staple piece in your decor, its an investment. Sometimes you end up spending more money on a bunch if trendy pieces from the other cheaper stores which go out of style in a year or two.

I agree. I have a chair that I bought from Pottery Barn some years back and it’s still holding up strong even with a cross country move.

Pottery Barn prices have become so overpriced it is stunning. Baskets are a fraction of their price at Home Goods and decor pieces can be found at Target.

I was just in on yesterday and plates were $52.00 each from a particular setting. Most can not afford the meal of said price, to plate on them. My reaction was OH, My while walking away.

Another comment/thought: I was at PB about 15 years ago, bc the engaged couple had them as their wedding registry. Couldn’t find the glasses they wanted, and I asked the sales associate about them. She pulled out their official book of inventory (and why she let me look at it with her, I don’t know) and it had the PB purchase price of $5, and they were selling them for $45………truth!

I shop here occasionally and love there stuff 😊 on another note It’s a great place to get ideas and then purchase very similar items for half the cost. It’s a inspiring store for home decor but agree that a lot of the stuff is over priced for what it is.

Oh my goodness, everything is beige, black or white. Finally some color at end of video with pillows and floral bedding. I like neutral furniture, but I use pops of color with my Chinoiserie pottery, bright colored canvas art, pillows.

Lovely video! This location seems to be huge and filled with well done, thoughtful displays. Last time I was at my local PB, it was a bit of a mess, with furniture blocking furniture so you couldn't open drawers or cabinets, etc. It's a shame, really. But this store is so nice and you did a great job capturing it. Thank you for the walk thru!

Back in the 1980’s, when I was just starting out in life, I used to go to Pottery Barn to shop for affordable items. Pottery Barn was known for having unique and tasteful items at really good prices. What happened? So disappointing. Now I shop at Target or Kirklands. Target has really kicked it up a notch when it comes to home furnishings. Nice stuff.

Several years ago I was scouring the internet for a standing desk and saw that Pottery Barn was selling one that had an industrial design with a hand crank. It was a bit expensive but I went into the store to get a better look. When examining the under portion I could immediately she the poor construction which consisted of cheap plastic tubing in the crank shaft connected to the base. From that moment on I only look at Pottery Barn for ideas. I can get dupes that are cheaper and of a better quality at other stores.

Like some decor at end. I like neutral furniture but with colorful pillows throws and rugs. I really miss pier one I used to shop at pottery barn but prices and bland decor is not what I am looking for

They have lovely upscale items. Very unique items. Beautiful lanterns. The style I like are hard to find. I feel sorry for these stores trying to make a go of it!!! Keep in mind it's not their fault!! Thank you for the nice viewing.

I do not understand the faux plant craze -- looks cheap. Rarely buy anything at PB -- in 2021 I needed curtains that were 63 inches long. I found them at PB Teens or Kids and at a much lower price. Nicely made.

What can I say, Pottery Barn makes all the catalogs and shows like this one , once you buy furniture or other stuff they just don’t care to deliver it, itens can take a year to ship, so disrespectful, last purchase I had to cancel after 5 months waiting and the item was “ in stock” !! Im Not going back to Pottery Barn anymore!!! Magda /Florida

Customer service is terrible unless you look like you have money. I’m disabled and they made me walk to the back of the store to pick up an item while they helped someone else who came to the register after me. Not a fan.
