Thanks for this video and awesome see your sister. I don’t know much about quilting but would love to learn. As you know I usually do amigurumi. I bought few patterns to make stuffed animals out of fabrics. Pattern is called Memory Bear. I found some bumblebee 🐝 fabric I’d like to use for the pattern. Also have a practically new sewing machine I’ve barely used. So 2025 will be year of trying new things. Almost finished my first crochet granny rectangle baby blanket. Sending prayers love and hugs.

I tried quilting once after visiting Lancaster County Pa. I decided it was best left to the Amish Ladies. They earned every penny they get. I lost a pint of blood doing the hand quilting. I made a quilt for my son when he was little. He managed taking out the stitching and undid the log cabin quilt I made for him.

Hi ladies - nice to see you both - love your videos - thanks for sharing! Nice assortment of sewing thread, decent prices too. You can use on the sewing machine as well as in your needle for hand sewing. Do you have a preference between cotton and polyester thread? I think polyester may be more sturdy? I love using clips - they are so handy, come in different sizes and for me, way better than using pins! I always stab myself - yikes! Anxious to see your quilting videos - nice to take a break from crocheting. I just went to my local Joanns who had TONS and TONS of things on sale - hope that doesn't mean.....you know what?! The store was packed - took me 40 minutes to check out! They had yarn ALL over the aisles and in the back of the store - some just left in huge boxes - brands I never even heard of or seen before...great prices on everything, including fabric, thread, sewing machines, storage containers, etc... Now is the time to buy if you have any xtra cash! Have a nice day :-)
