What's New At Universal Orlando! | HHN Tribute Store Update, Jurassic Park Coaster Progress & More!

In today's vlog we head to Universal Orlando Resort to see what's new! We start in CityWalk and check out the construction progress of the rumored new Universal Studios Store. We're not sure if that's what this location will be when it opens but that's what the rumor is. We head over to Voodoo Donuts to try the new Jack the Clown and Pumpkin Spiced donuts. Both were pretty good but I liked the pumpkin spiced one better! Then we head into Universal Studios to check out the crowd levels, try some more spooky treats and see what's new in the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store. The crowd level is much lower than the last visit, which was nice. There was no wait for the Tribute Store so we head in and check out the new Mold-A-Rama machine. So now they have a Frankenstein's Monster mold and an HHN pumpkin mold. We also got a lemon mummy tart and another striped hot dog to eat. We check some ride wait times and then head over to Islands of Adventure to check on the construction progress of the Jurassic Park coaster, which looks so awesome!! There is so much more rock work theming around the track now, I can't wait for this coaster to open! A storm started brewing so we head to front of the park. We also check out some of the ride wait times before heading out for the day. We hope you enjoyed hanging out with us at Universal today! Protip. If you have a kid you can go on Pteradon flyers and get a great view of the inside of the ride and show building. Including clearly seeing 3 huge velociraptors they’ve installed. You can see them while waiting in line and from above while riding.

My little brother was in the NICU for a few months after he was born. He is now turning 10 this month, happy and healthy! This was a great organization to shine a spotlight on! Didn’t even know you could donate to that sort of cause. NICU medicines and equipment are very expensive! Definitely worth the donation! I donated :)

Thank you for recognizing NICU Awareness month! My daughter was born at 31 weeks and 1 day, and spent 45 days in the NICU. The things they can do to help these little babes (preemie and full term!) is just remarkable! My kiddo was lucky enough to just pretty much be what they called a “feeder and grower” during her stay. The nurses in the NICU are some of the best people you will ever meet. As a note to the public as we enter RSV/flu season (as well as navigating a pandemic), please do not touch any babies without asking. They could be more fragile than what you see on the outside. ☺️ We love watching your videos, and love all the Jackson updates! My daughter is a huge fan of Disney, specifically Mickey and friends (she just turned 2).

The moisture content in the donuts and their fillings is what makes the pretzels stale. Pretzels need to be very dry to keep their snap!

The Mold-a-rama you got looks pretty standard for a lot of Mold-a-ramas. If it cools to quickly or not quickly enough it can look like that. Also if the machine hasn't been used in a while and the mold is cold when the plastic is injected, it can look like that. I've been collecting Mold-a-ramas for about 25 years and have over 250 of them, so I am super excited to see new molds showing up in the parks!

I agree about Bigfire. We've been three times, and it has been totally inconsistent. First visit, the Brussels sprouts were the best I've had. The second visit, I sent them back. My steak was extremely overcooked twice. Most importantly, they don't offer Scotch at their bar; I have to go to a kiosk outside and bring it in.... At least they allow that.

It's even cheaper here in Tucson, AZ to rent a theater. For $100 you can invite up to 20 people. That is $5 a person. That is cheap indeed.

That area with the zig zag shape is where the coaster gets launched out of to go over the top hat and through the rest of the ride. It is themed to the Raptors breaking out of their conatinment area (the Raptor containment area is the first half of the ride. The second half of the ride is when the Raptors, the coaster train, breaks out).

I don't know the science behind it but the doughnut will draw the moisture out of the pretzel. When I bake cookies I was taught to put a piece of bread in the container that I store them in. The bread gets stale but the cookies stay nice and soft.

Tim, that track that you keep saying looks like its on an elevator is at the very end of the ride. That is the break run. Just follow the track going down the big drop. You have the entire layout flipped backwards in your brain. There are a million videos with Point Of Views for the ride. You over the top hat and down toward Harry Potter an around the helix, then through the Heartline Roll over the water and over into the final break run (your "elevator track").
