What's NEW At Universal Studios Florida! | Minions Cafe Soft Opens! | Food, Treats, Drinks & Merch!

In today's vlog we head to Universal Studios to see what's new this week! Minion Land and some of the offerings within the land have soft opened and we check them out! We tried new food and drinks at Minions Cafe, new treats at Bake My Day Bakery and themed popsicles at Freeze Ray Pops! We also got to check out the new Universal street wear line, it was pretty awesome! We had a blast and we hope you had fun joining along! Thank you for watching and we'll see you soon with a new vid!

@@jasmine-rose18 you go to diagon alley and theres like a little bank building outside of gringotts on the main strip with a "goblin" inside and you can basically exchange your real money to a voucher that turns it into wiarding money. It's basically like a fun and immersive giftcard but you can only use it in the wizarding world im pretty sure.

I was there April 26 and don’t even remember there being walls but on June 12 I saw it all but none of the stuff was open or visible except for the sign. Will be there in a week and a half so I will see it then but don’t really care for minion stuff lol

I think I liked your review the best. Glad to see all the merch too. I think they are getting better at merch too. I bought a zip up hoodie (the only kind I’ll buy) of Dr.Suess characters and love it. I love the group character shirts instead of one only better. Tim, been watching for years, but I love how you add some overlays when eating items. It allows for the ingredients to be properly listed on the burgers etc. I bet it allows you to enjoy the treat rather than worrying about forgetting something. Well done as always!

The menu for the restaurant is much deeper than I expected. Looks great, but would not want to be in the center area of the restaurant with all of the noise. Merch is definitely improved, but unfortunately the prices have not! Great to see you finally getting back in the parks!

I’m confused a bit when Tim said “Green Banana chips”, because I’m unsure if he means plantain chips, which I absolutely love, or actual green banana chips, which tend to be sweeter but still odd tasting for me. I know im gonna have some replies saying “it’s the same thing” but it’s not. Plantain chips are popular where I live in Puerto Rico, but I once had someone give me a green banana chip bag, thinking they were plantain chips, but I was hit with the weird taste and I didn’t like it, so yes, there is a difference.

The park reused the Donkey meet and greet location. They redecorated and put a new frame on the glass but not much changed inside probably. These things don’t change all too much if the basics are there. I hope they made it safe though.

In the US the most common version of this is called Smiles, and they looks like a smiley face. The most famous brand is made by McCain, but there are others as well. I used to eat a lot of them growing up.

Also, I'm kind of sad to see The Betty Boop Store go, too, not that I'm so much a fan of the character, but I had a friend at one point who'd worked in that store, as a cashier. I worked rides in the Marvel section of IOA, and she initially worked in the Spiderman gift shop there, and that's how we met, riding the employee shuttle from our respective, "attractions," back to the wardrobe building, to change out of our work clothes, but in transit we'd just start talking to each other & found we had stuff in common. She eventually went over to the other park, specifically to work in Betty Boop, because she had always liked the character. In fact, I feel like that might be part of what got her attention about me in the 1st place, I grew up in the NY/NJ area, and unmistakably have an accent to match, much like the Betty Boop character herself does, and if nothing else, I think she may have wanted to learn the, "Betty Boop Accent," from me, and possibly incorporate it into her work in the store in a way, which I had no problem with, I'm Very Proud of where I started out in life, I believe she'd originally been from somewhere in Michigan.
