A very unexpectedly cool update. I wonder if there’s a max4live tool for Apple spatial audio so I could try this out, if that even makes sense. Also very excited about the midi mixer daw control…my one request is that Arturia would add more than 4 Aux channels! I want the X8 out but if I can’t get more Aux channels than I don’t particularly need it, I use the AFCC more than my DAW at this point

Wow, this is an incredibly well thought-out system, and almost perfect, IMHO! Especially in the way it handles channels individually, instead of forced stereo pairs, and your focus on surround formats, outstanding understanding and treatment of the LFE channel for film post, and assignable outputs, etc. The ONLY thing I see missing here (compared to my ca. 2012 MOTU unit) is EQ and Dynamics for Input/Output processing, especially EQ on output. For example, I used the 5-band EQ (+ LP/HP filters) on my MOTU to tune my individual speakers for my particular room (made sub-optimal due to forced stereo pairing of outputs). The Audio Interface is the perfect place in the chain to do that, since any and all output passes through it. Headphones are unaffected, as they should be. Which reminds me, a SECOND HP output would be a welcomed addition as well on this outstanding unit (but that can't be fixed, optimally, with a FW update). Two things I couldn't discern is (1) whether or not the outputs are balanced and (2) if the headphone amps are powerful enough to handle high-impedance phones? Keep up the great work Arturia!

Balanced I/Os. Has a toggle to switch between several ohm preset settings.

@@lukechen3841 I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. By balanced, I mean there is a third conductor as in a Balanced XLR cable to prevent electromagnetic interference. It would need a TRS socket connector and cable. It appears you are referring to line level voltage or impedance.

@@shane_taylor - The Line Outs are balanced. - There's a switch from the Control Center to adapt the Heaphones out impedance.

@Arturia will this work if the inputs into interface are from ADAT, rather than from USB from a Computer?

Yes, you can select any analog, USB or ADAT input from the "source" menu of each immersive channel strip. Have a look at the user guide--it's explained in there.

This update broke ableton for me. I got the notification to update my control center application, and after doing do, I can no longer open up the hardware setup option to change my buffer size in ableton. I am using the audiofuse studio, so I'm not sure why I even received the update if I can't utilize it? Hopefully, this gets fixed soon, or I can find a way to roll back my control center version.

Those screws for the rack mounting are not good honestly. Bought it today and it sounds excellent - but those screws are just unusable. One is not able to unscrew them due to damages within the screws. I am not the only one, there are some reviews that point that out. Not satisfied with only using 2 of the 4 screws.

Why has Arturia not created an immersive stereo effect like the old Roland RSS? I have some recordings where that was used and the effect is incredible. I do hope the concept is not locked up in forgotten Roland patents.

J'ai fait l'update (apres 2 jours de troubleshootings, avec blie screen et démarrage sur le bios) et je n'ai pas vu de différence sur l'interfece. Alors vos vide6de propagande avec pleins de superlatifs, vois savez ce que vois mouvez en faire, rditez un quick guide des nouvelles fonctions, merci
