Hi Jeff, Did you get a new camera? The images are incredibly clear today. Thanks for the vivid and detailed tour of the 4Runner Limited. Now I will know exactly what I am jealous of when one drives by me on the street. ;)

Jeff - I have the 2018 4WD Limited 4Runner with the automatic running boards. Wonder why Toyota changed that feature. Has anyone heard of the entune audio system Echoing when making phone calls? Toyota can’t seem to fix our issue. We already unpaired and repaired our iPhones multiple times. Thanks for sharing this issue.

CarPlay and the new safety systems are the main updates. If you don’t care about those updates, you can get away with a low mileage 2019-2017 model to save some money.

I just don't get why Toyota didn't hide the housing behind the grill 😭😭😭😭 Also, what the heck is a map card??
@GarrettWorcester4 жыл бұрын
For my vehicle (Hyundai Santa Fe Sport), it's an SD card that stores the information for the onboard maps - *NOT* your Apple, Google, or Waze maps. Every once in a blue moon, I have to take it out and download an update from my PC, which reminds me It's probably due for another updating session.

I love 4Runners but it's lack of luxury features when compared to other suvs in it's price range its found lacking. Now when you start looking at the TRD Pro it's more forgivable lacking the luxury. I remember when the Limited was the height of luxury. Of course that was before the GX came along.
@georgetown89869 ай бұрын
The 2022 and above Limiteds have a great amount of luxury. Plus they are very capable to dress up or dress down. And have a one of a kind look. Very sharp. The GX is frankly not an attractive vehicle at all--no matter how you order it. The GX550 looks sharp in the videos, however, time will tell on the engine and the overall appearance on the streets.

If you have kids and live in very hot summer states, this vehicle is hot in the second row. We bought a 2020 TRD ORP and my kids complained all the time.
@homelessmillionaire14 жыл бұрын
The prices are outrageous...$1000/month for 60 months. I don't understand why people think that 60k for a SUV is reasonable. If you need this level of vehicle for your work assignment, then ok. But just to commute to a $15-$20 hourly job is crazy as hell.

I love 4runners, BUT it does NOT have blindspot monitors. Just that one thing. Other than that it will be perfect. For a vehicle that is over 4O thousand plus dollars, I'm disappointed especially on a Limited. I was looking to buy one but I will hold out until then. Awesome review 👍
@Anomize234 жыл бұрын
Looking rather than depending on a blind spot monitor is much better. Makes you a much better driver as well and more aware

I held back on the 2019 4runner because I could not stand the radio and was considering getting a aftermarket radio installed, which I don't like to do with my cars. But I heard about the 2020 updates and decided to wait. Glad I did I'm hoping to get a 2020 TRD Off Road. Hesitating with everything that's going on but hope to get one eventually. I just hate shopping for cars so there's that. Haha.

Hi Jeff.. I went from a 4Runner SR5 to a Limited and noticed the BIG difference in handling between the two. Perhaps you might to talk about suspension in future videos. Happy 4th and stay safe. Cheers..
@PaulSimonCEze4 жыл бұрын
How has the drive been so far, if you compare the two?
@marlonm3964 жыл бұрын
@@PaulSimonCEze, the drive on the Limited is much better. The vehicle feels more firm to the ground and it definitely has LESS body roll which I noticed on the test drive. I feel safer on the Limited hands down..
