Great info. Will you guys show a video on installing the Explore units. I’ll be replacing my Helix’s with Explore units. Can I use the existing MSI/DI transducer already installed on my boat ? Thanks guys.

You will have to go with a new transducer as the Xplore has a 14 pin connection like the Solix/Apex. I think an install video is in store!

Does anyone know how to clear clutter up on an Active Target 2? It has never worked great on my boat and I took it ice fishing on the weekend and there is like an upside down half moon ring covering the bottom blocking most of the important information. I feel like I have tried everything in the adjustments. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Been running ML 1 since the day it was released and I'm very disappointed that "New PCBA Design & New Housing Design" is one of their 'selling features' on the new model. How lame. It looks like the "New MegaLive" is actually just the same old ML but with a longer range. It's also lame that once I update the only G3 Solix I have to the new software, it won't recognize my other 3 Solix's. Humminbird sucks for that. Hopefully they'll make an update where I can at least share waypoints with the other Solix's.

Totally agree. I now have a Solix G2 that will become useless after the software updates 😢

I understand your frustration. I am thinking it has to do with processor speed. Being able to share waypoints (at a minimum) would be nice!

Humminbird emailed me today and said the Xplore is not replacing the Solix.

@RussellMarineProductsLLC Yea. I had to make sure I didn't have to go buy something else. They said it's not replacing the Solix and they don't plan on discontinuing the Solix either.

Guess I’ll just drop my Helix overboard and purchase an Explorer to go with my updated Live.

Helix will still do MSI+, Lakemaster etc...no need to toss it overboard! LOL
