@cristian8781 More or less, but why mess with success, right? Sometimes the best innovation is just listening to the smart folks out there and letting them lead the way. We like to think of it as 'crowdsourced engineering'-or just us being really good at taking hints 😉!

@@oasevideo That is a good attitude to have but it's a shame Oase didn't listen to me over a decade ago when I was communicating with the head of Oase UK about the Biorb upgrade kit and offering to help develop aquarium filters (for free) after Oase took over Eden. When I made the 'Pimp My Filter' video on the Biomaster 600 (5 years ago) the first thing I identified was the problem with the pre-filter pipe so I drilled many more holes in it and suggested a slightly larger diameter pipe with bigger holes. Less restriction = more flow and less bubbles being retained in the pre-filter foams. I'm glad to see that those problems have been rectified since Oase make great quality products and the filters deserve a wider user base.

There is a Shrimp guard enclosed. Maybe give that a try.

Adult shrimp safe. Not fry unfortunately. Luckily they survive in the pre filter 😅

You are right. Size of the shrimp matters here. So don‘t be surprised when opening the prefilter 😃
