El Paso hold a special place in my heart. I have been visiting a Paso regularly for more than a decade. I am a Canadian who just randomly ended up in the city and loved it. But over the years I see that so many new things open up and close down. it’s nice to hear of new projects. I am especially looking forward to going to the Elmont when I’m back in El Paso in September. Thank you for this video.😊

Coming down to El Paso from Denver in about a week. Will be my first time seeing the city. Very excited.

I'm originally from El Paso, moved to Denver. El Paso is such a comfortable place, extremely friendly community, medium sized suburban sprawl with the mindset of a small town. It's a reason I am moving back!

I line in Puerto Rico but I vacation in El Paso TX. There is no other place better for people and food than this place right here. As far as the scenery, it’s all in what you think is beautiful. I like the desert life.

I'm moving from Denver back to El Paso this year. Working remote and the safe friendly community + low cost of living seems like the best choice for me. Thank you for the video on what's new

I heard about this just a couple of days ago, and in my neighborhood! Very exciting! Hopefully it will attract some of the shows we usually can't see unless we go to Las Cruces!

The amphitheater is a great idea. They should put a hotel on the location.

Hardcore, El Paso needs the amphitheatre! I lived a year in NE Paso where I attended a Diablos game in Cohen stadium. The game over, yet folks remained seated. Suddenly an 18 wheeler towed in a flat bed trailer with amplifiers stacked atop it. The PA announced the stars as they climbed up onto the trailer: Herman Hermits, Davy Jones/ of The Monkeys, and another 60's star. The shallow sound sucked. In fact I felt embarrassed for the performers standing on that non descript cargo trailer. I wince to this day thinking of the fiasco. I have always pondered why EP did not take advantage of the desert air by building a amphitheater. Good for El Paso. Keep up the good work John.

This city needs an actual waterpark and MLS team

I'm not a big soccer fan, but you're right an MLS team would be a great idea because I'm from San Jose, and our MLS team became immediately popular because we have about the same % of hispanic demographic.

With all of these investments, why not develop downtown? It looks like a slum in a 3rd world country! Abandoned, empty businesses, derelicts camped out in front of stores, more and more places closing, etc. Many seniors and disabled people live here because of relatively low rents and getting to these high scale entertainment venues on the outskirts is difficult ( especially for those who don't drive ) There needs to be more attractions in Central El Paso, also basics like decent grocery stores... ( Only Mata's!)

This!! Downtown El Paso is ugly! Being so close to Juarez is the issue. Old, empty run down buildings are an eye sore.

Dog park cantina? I see many lawsuits coming. I lived last few years in WA before moving to El Paso. So many people in Seattle area have dogs, almost seems to be a requirement! People constantly walk their dogs, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how socially conditioned most dogs are, compared to what I saw in So. CA where I lived most of my life. In WA, lots of dog parks, but always the owner is expected to supervise a dog off-leash. I hardly ever see people walk their dogs in El Paso, mostly they just bark all day in their yards. Add a cantina when the owners should be supervising? Big trouble.

these kind of places were all over in Colorado. Though I do agree the pet culture here isn't the best, I hope the staff will have strict enforcement of removing dogs that are causing disturbances.

I like the Old West El Paso (John Wesley Hardin, John Selman, George Scarborough, Pancho Villa, the Acme Saloon) and the role El Paso played in the Mexican Revolution. " El Paso Saddlery", handmade leather gunbelts, holsters, saddle scabbard for rifles. In business since the 1880's. I hope that great town does not wimp out with sissified left-wing socialist wokeism..

Be a realist. El Paso sucks. The local government is very corrupt and the city is not pretty at all.

It could be very nice. All the federal areas are maintained nicely. And it just goes to show that it's not the location, it's the people in charge of the area.

It’s not the city that sucks, it’s the people, they have stopped so many things that could have made El Paso grow, like the arena, and did you know that a six flags was gonna be here but was stopped by the people

@@DiegoLopez-ln1yzI think I did read something online about Western playland receiving an offer from six flags years ago. I get what you said about the people. Like the loyalty people here seem to have to Whataburger. I've heard people say they don't want an in and out here...... But there are many places like Burger King, Freddie's, Wendy's, or Arby's. Tucson, and Albuquerque are smaller cities with better malls, restaurants, and variety. You have a great point.

@@DiegoLopez-ln1yz It was more than just Six Flags… Disney, Sea World and more were interested (my brother was the transportation coordinator when those companies came to visit) but the city and some local politicians messed it all up. That’s when Sea World said forget it and purchased - expanded a park in San Antonio. The city also drove away The Cheesecake Factory restaurant after they made several attempts to open here. Our politicians have a habit of promising all sorts of tax incentives to large corporations but when it’s time to sign the deal they always renege on their promises. El Paso has a lot of potential but the corrupt political families running this town keep it from developing to its full potential. What better example than the whole downtown ballpark scam. We’re paying for it and will forever as it is a commercial failure but they shoved down people’s throats and keep raising taxes using other excuses.
