@@rosiodeleon6975 the valley unfortunately like the northeast has fewer amenities and and is actually less accessible. Also doesn’t really have too much of the glitz that the west and east sides have but definitely is more historic and has its own charm. That’s tricky because the majority of undeveloped land around El Paso does not have any infrastructure or utilities. You would pretty much be living off grid or you’re going to lay a lot for that 20 acres. Email me at john@penaelpaso.com

But for those planning to move to the Northeast because housing maybe more affordable on this side of town it’s truly not bad aside for that very small patch, look into the North Hills , Mesquite or Coopers town area. And we truly have great views of the Mountains. If you like the Hispanic culture and food this is a great place to experience that. The local people are nice hospitality is big in our culture. Jim Emerson, not El Paso. I left in 82 and do not regret it. Don’t get me wrong, EP is my hometown born and raised. Unless you are fluent in Spanish or you are Spanish there is no job for you. I tried in 2013. Not one job offer. Consider all your options.
@FrankRizzo70802 жыл бұрын
@@pattyg4421 that has crossed my mind. I’ll be staying downtown in October for a few days to check it out. The job thing isn’t a problem because we both work remote but I certainly don’t wanna be somewhere where’s there is a lot of discrimination going on. I was intrigued with El Paso because of the weather , real estate prices, and lower crime for a bigger city. I love Northwest Arizona but if you want a semi decent home ya gotta pay a lot $$$. I’m just sick of freezing lol. We aren’t even super old just turned 50 - so pretty flexible where we can live just as long as it’s warm and not horribly expensive. So patty, I’m open for any suggestions.
@pattyg44212 жыл бұрын
@Jim Emerson, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s your decision on where you move. Do your research on everything EP. I grew up on the East side. Eastwood area. Older homes but built very well. Second choice would be the west side. Not a lot to do there. You can drive 2 hrs and be in Ruidoso New Mexico. Winter you can snow ski. Beautiful place. There is also Whitesands in New Mexico. We used to go and sand surf. From 2007-2013, when visiting I did not feel safe. Thank goodness my parents finally left. Definitely do not cross over into Mexico. These real estate companies will tell you what you want to hear just to make a buck. Best wishes to you!

The border life video you did two weeks ago titled Border Life terrified me knowing how easy you can cross from El Paso into Mexico. I have kids and knowing they can get kidnapped and lost in Mexico with in mins scared me enough to not want to move there. Can you talk about the abduction rate in El Paso because i couldn't find to much info online please.
@ll71653 жыл бұрын
I've lived here all my life and have young kids. NEVER have I ever had to worry about my kids being kidnapped to Mexico. My biggest fear are random mass shootings that have occurred at stores like what happened in August 2019. Unfortunately, this happens all over the US. Millions of people live on both sides of the border. There are people who live in Juarez who come to work and school every day. There's billions of dollars worth of trade that goes on between the two countries. There's also a huge law enforcement presence: federal, state and local. In fact, one of the top employers here is being in law enforcement. Like it or not, some private citizens carry weapons on their person too. It's probably likely that there are more kidnappers, sex offenders and degenerates in the area where you live in than here.

@@ll7165 Also it's nearly impossible to purchase a firearm legally in Mexico but you wanna mention the billions of dollars in trade.. We'll so you know im not just typing out of a hateful heart, you can tap the search bar on the top of your KZbin app or whatever other sources you decide to fact check my words on is fine with me because I have no desire to lie but facts are facts and since you can purchase a gun so easily in Texas and the Laredo borders is heavily more difficult to get into Mexico then El Paso. Guess What?90% of all firearms and ammunition go through the El Paso border into Mexico because it's so easy there. There is a documentary on KZbin where a married couple,the wife whom works on the Mexico side & her husband on the El Paso side whom lets major trafficking go on. After watching multiple videos exactly like that one plus John Penas video from 2 weeks ago.. Why wouldn't i ask the simple question of Mr. Pena to elaborate on the subject at hand of abduction in El Paso.. Sorry for having to explain so much but you just didn't seem to be aware of the problem. Do the research then come back and comment in a couple days. What you don't give your attention to,your probably not aware of.
