A major drawback for me in Google meet/chat is ... We have 2 major email providers in the market, they are Microsoft 365 and Google workspace. Due to various reasons, many companies have chosen either of them, but as the business grows, You might have to interact or chat with the people outside your organization, then it becomes very difficult as you cannot talk to anyone who is on Microsoft 365 or MS Teams or vice versa.

One area where we still struggle with MS Word instead of Docs is for Track Changes. So when working with people outside the own organization who have not gone Google, and you collaborate on let’s say a commercial agreement, it’s still sort of de facto to use MS Word to track what changes the other party implements/suggests. Any thoughts on how to handle this differently?

I commented on another thread but I am wondering if people successfully moved from SharePoint to using something in Google Workspace that satisfied this? This maybe a reason people would keep their MS contract.

some of my customer (accountants) say they need excel as they are power users .Not sure how true that is ?

One thing in favour of Office vs Workspace is that the latter still hasn't introduced the dark mode for its web apps. The overwhelming white on the screen is just hurting my eyes :( Strangely enough, they did a pretty nice dark mode for the web versions of Keep, KZbin, the Google search engine to mention a few. So it seems to me Workspace and Docs are not a priority product for them.

Wondering if a gsuite admin see my web activity if paused/empty? Is there a way for them to view regardless?
