Can work instructions be pulled up while using the barcode app?

Were those properties applied to "banana" only and other products won't have the same properties available to their lots? If so, is it true then if I want a "property" to be available everywhere I should use Studio?

Looks like this is addressed beginning at 53:06: The properties are applied to the item's product category.
