Very cool, would love to see more work done on the basic ui and dialog boxes. Lots of functions are hidden behind multiple layers of boxes, multiple clicks, in non-obvious areas. The software is powerful but workflows could be greatly improved. I've read the forums so I know there are still dozens of older enhancement requests that are out there to consider. The view cube in particular is very lacking compared to your competitors

As a dedicated Siemens NX user, I'd love to see a Class A surfacing feature similar to Autodesk Alias. This would greatly enhance our ability to create high-quality, aesthetically pleasing surface finishes, especially for automotive and aerospace designs. Adding this feature would significantly improve our workflow and design quality. Please consider this for future updates. Thanks!

NX can already create class A surfaces and can do it better than Alias...

@@petarivic6528 I use both Alias and NX, but I personally find Alias better when its comes to do Class A surfacing. I find it difficult to control the CV on NX and Alias on the other hand also has this feature called (Align) which is really needed feature for surfacing

Hi @gagan00152, have you tried NX Realize Shape within NX. It offers amazing surfacing capabilities with in NX

I like to see the addition of the BIM features. I really would really love it if NX gained similar features on the routing side of the program to include piping data and make it a competitor to tools like AVEVA and either hook into COMOS or more preferably utilize the NX Diagramming features to create a true digital twin plant platform.

to bad there is so little focus on improving and speeding up the simple basic stuff, like sketching, modelling, viewing and making assemblies, as these are the things many are doing most of the day

Hi and thanks for your question (and your patience). Here's what the team shared: "If you want to basically use the "templated" way of dimensioning a view in the drafting application using auto dimensioning, you can use the option "Feature Parameters" that inherits the parameter of selected features (that is suitable to reuse for the specific view) and adds them as dimensions in the specific view (or several if applicable). @@SiemensSoftware I have bin all ready used feature parameters but it is not working comparatively to solidworks , creo , catia for auto dimensioning in detailing .

Nx is best software in world, but 2 thing dont let to him to be change it to number one choise for engineer, 1) very confusing and old design to simple feature that to cause engineer choose solid work or inventor... 2) there isnt enough learning content for professional feature, In totally least company, department, small company, engineer and student comes to nx and then nx hasn't appropriate place.... Now you can count number of like and view of nx video and see the video that other people share about nx....
