Consoles for the most part always sell at a loss. So them losing $15 bucks isn't a big deal. They're supposed to make their money back on good software and content.

If a console isnt selling well then the money they are selling the console for, will b sold at a loss is going to add up (yea doesnt feel too good if u hav more Wii Us sitting out there in the world, more than tht hav been sold).....even more so for ones tht r still sitting on the store shelves collecting dust. So again I fail to c ur point. PS3 and Xbox 360 sold at a major loss but made it back with great marketing, great software and great support. (Xbox 360 almost failed when it had a 52% failure rate at launch; but thanks to Microsofts apology and support on compensating for ppl it became the top selling 7th gen console until PS3 beat it barely at the end of their life cycle) While the Wii U only sold bc of great software and ok support but tht isnt enough to make back ur money if u dont hav great marketing and hav a complicated dev kit to work with for 3rd party developers. (and with Nintendo trying to force 3rd party developers to use the Wii Us controller screen) So YET again I fail to c ur point.

Why it never got a price drop? Cuz they never revised it. Usually that's when the price drop happens. A quick trip down memory lane to the 7th console gen shows this. Og Ps3 was hella expensive at $600 (an even then it was sold at a loss) but the Ps3 slim at $300 took off. Either way there's either no profit margins from the hardware or they sell at a loss. Its common. Software sells hardware. That's always been the case. Which is what i said. Your second paragraph only proves my point.

It's currently the year 2022 and I still love this game! I just wish that more Pokemon were added to the game. This game had so much hidden potential and I'm sad that the game only added two DLC characters. I would totally support the creation of a Pokken Tournament 2. I hate to see a good game die. I've always loved both Pokemon and fighting games, so this was definitely my kind of game. I pray that someone someday will revive Pokken Tournament and create a Pokken Tournament 2 and make so many people happy.

@@ayudhnagaraj3204 If you love Pokemon and fighting games you'll definitely love Pokken Tournament. It is still $60 (not sure why) but it's worth a buy in my opinion. You could always wait for the holidays to see if Pokken Tournament ever goes on a discount.

Eevee is well in this game. As a support, it comes in as Eevee itself, Umbreon, Espeon, and Sylveon, Glaceon and Leafeon can be seen in the backgrounds.

Touch screen can't be mandatory for a Switch game, and I highly doubt they'd go with using the button and joystick to place things in the level maker. That'd make level making way to long and annoying.

BigHailFan, Kyle the Reflectionist is right. I tried using a Nintendo stylus on Splatoon 2 when I wanted to draw and it didn't work, not even a mobile stylus worked. It barley works. Few game use the touch screen and even then its not that good.

5 new characters, a new mode that actually helps give the feel of a proper Pokemon battle, lots of nifty tools, daily challenges, some smoothing out of some graphical issues, hojestly seems good to me. And I owned a Wii U. Honestly, I just hope this does well cause I think Pokken has enormous potential as a spinoff franchise.

Hackedtower the purpose of Pokken DX is to sell the game to people who didn't get it on Wii U because they either never got a Wii U or because they just couldn't get their hands on the game.Not really a cashgrab,unless you're stupid enough to buy the game again

For those who have played both ARMS and Pokken Tournament before, how do they compare in the fun factor and potential for esports?

Both games are pretty fun, more variety in Pokken for me personally since characters have actual move sets whereas ARMS it's just characters inherent attributes and what arms you choose. Esports wise they both have potential for it at higher levels since players optimize movement, combos and neutral at that point so the games look faster. ARMS Esports potential hasn't shown itself that much because it's still really early in the games life but there was a glimmer of it at E3 with Mr. Yabuki I'd say.
