An interesting fact from abroad: In Poland we have shops called Pepco (almost like Pep&co) and they are owned by the same company as Poundland. There are some clothes there, home gadgets and decor, just like in Poundland.

Poundland here I come!! Want to take a look around their garden section. Love the square concrete plantpots ( fully immerse them in water for an hour and they will last forever) can upcycle them in many ways but equally fab as they are. Also need a new sharpie or 3!!

They're so fragile, though I bought the round ones as the square were all displayed already broken. One of mine got a knock and that was it, already cracked. Shame because they're really lovely. Thanks for the tip.

I love both lanterns, the white one I have been debating about getting in black for my sittingroom to put a press led inside to give that warm evening glow. The other with the glass vase and four tier candle holder, so versatile flower arrangements, candles, jewellery holder, the list is endless

Hi Iwan another great haul. The £5 storage box I add 4 wooden legs onto it (10 inch high) and put it next to the fire place with a fake plant on it. It looks amazing xx

I just pre-ordered the grey plastic rattan version of that haul cube for the garden from Aldi. I am guessing more sturdy than the Poundland one @£5 vs £20 for the Aldi one. The top doubles up as a tray too. Hoping to get an egg chair to put it next to! Might even raise it a bit on to a wheeled dolly for ease in moving around the garden.

My favourite is the dream catcher and large mirror which you are going to use on your roof top garden. Perhaps for a diy you could add beads to the dream catcher. The concrete pots will be nice to add mosaic tiles or add a small Spanish tile

Those cement ones...I bought 3 ...put my plant in it and watered the plant...the water ended up sleeping through the pot - keep away from water I believe they'll end up crumbling like past stuff made out of the same

Loved the video and the haul my favorite item was the gold hanging pots I could see these hanging on a rod in my kitchen window full of herbs or small trailing plants. Waiting patiently for a DIY it seems ages since we had one.

I noted the Garden Mirror as you were shopping and thought it would be in your haul. It is very nice quality and the slightly aged treatment is great. Always looking for storage pieces, the large square is a perfect choice. For a college student it would be another place to serve snacks on. Your Poundland is so tidy and well laid out, my local one is relatively new but still manages to look like a whirlwind has gone through it - too messy and has too many self service tills (yeah, I am having a grumble). I need to go and get some slim baskets for the kitchen cupboard where I keep my medication just to tidy it up a bit. In your video, I liked the lantern with the metal tea light holders inside and I also liked the 50p photo frame.

i like the glass holder with the four little candle holder when you can seperate them the glass vase for christmas i would put christmas babules and battery lights and use it as a centrepiece for the table

Hi Ewan like the ideas with the concrete style planters. If you decide to put the planters outside maybe a good idea to give them a coat of outdoor clear varnish or something similar because mine have cracked already and only had them out a couple of days x

But that little round mirror sort of reminds me of a sea urchin shell texture. That glass vase with the black votive holder is really versatile too. How did you get that lot home!! It makes me want to make a special trip to Stratford just for a huge Poundland store. My closest one is fairly small and won’t have that variety on offer - and definitely no Pep & Co. My fave would be the concrete pots. If I can get some, I already have a plan for the hessian bunting. Here in South west Missouri we have a store called Dollar tree and every thing is 1 dollar. And we have a Dollar general store that seems like your pound land but ours is alot smaller! Great price on all those batteries! I got 4 for a dollar/pound yesterday. And I'd buy up all of those concrete planters they were my favorite!

What an amazing haul. Stratford's Poundland looks fantastic. So large & soooooo much stock/variety. Because of Covid & shielding not been to either of my 2closest p.lands 4over a year. Both are small-medium size but hopefully have been updated to offer frozen food & bigger clothing range. Btw....so many nice things, hard to pick a fav, but I did love the tealight holder & concrete pots. YESSSSS please to a DIY vid for p.land bits 😊 Happy Thursday Mr C.
