I’ve a tip when you’re using your slow cooker at night. If you use a timer plug you can set it to turn off during the night to suit you - or alternatively have it come on in the early hours and you can turn it off once you’re up and about. Thanks for the salmon recipe, it looks lovely and I may well try it!

Hi there Mr Carrington 😁here is a little tip there are now slow cooker pinners that I think in Lidls or Pound Stretchers. O as an alternative just put about 1-2 Teaspoons of any Cooking Oil in the bottom of your slow cooker grab 1 peice of kitchen paper and then use this to wipe the inside of the slow cooker ta da a non stick slow cooker. I do this to all my Oven proof dishes (less work ) washing up or less scrubbing in your Dishwasher 😁😁😁 please pass this on if you wish Please Stay Safe 👍👍👍

Just an idea for your tea box, if you watches came in a gift box they have a spongy support maybe that would fit in the box and stop the watches moving around, enjoyed your video 😄

Hi Mr C, with your watch box, doll size pillows are great for popping the watch onto :-D you just need some padding (if you have an old duvet to go, or pillows, use that) and then select a silky or funky silky feel fabric to make a wee pillow cover out of and pop it over. :-D

A moisture-wicking fabric has two jobs: one is quickly moving (wicking) sweat to the fabric’s outer surface and the other is drying rapidly so that your sweat doesn’t saturate the fabric. The result is that you’re more comfortable because your body can regulate its temperature efficiently and the fabric touching your skin has a dry, nonsticky feel. JUNE

Fabulous video as per. You don't need the sunshine pet, you bring your own! Oh how you make me smile when I see one of your videos posted. ty!!! The thrifting idea is smashing, I'll need to check that out. Love the tea caddy, our Lidl doesn't have any!! I love slow cooking. Can I add a wee tip to try? When you brown your beef add a dash of Lea and Perrins, it makes such a lovely rich taste to the meat. I use mine all the time in Winter and have made some fabulous dishes just by chucking things in together and seeing what comes out! You can leave it on overnight you know. It cooks casseroles to perfection if you do that and leave it on low, just check there's enough fluid/sauce in to cover the meat. You should do more cooking videos, you're a joy to watch lol! Stay safe. Oh I'd recommend Matalan too. I still wash and wear some items from there I've had for over 10 years, they're very hard wearing.x

Great video Mr. C! Always feels good to do a de-clutter no matter what time of year I say. We're currently doing a purge here at our home this weekend & will be donating to charity as well. Moisture wicking basically means the fabric helps to evaporate the sweat so it doesn't stick to the fabric or your body. So glad you used Mary Barry's recipe for the banana bread. In addition to adding chocolate chips you could also use some peanut butter chips or swirl on a little melted Biscoff spread to the top before baking, & I learned from another KZbinr that adding chopped up medjool dates to the batter gives the banana bread a sticky toffee pudding type of taste. The beef stew looked amazing as well. I like to add pearl onions, fresh parsley, chopped potatoes, & frozen peas to ours in addition to carrots & a little minced garlic. Thanks for sharing. Sending love from Fort Worth! 😊🍌❄☕

If you make the ham in cola Nigella recommends that you use full sugar cola as the sweetness helps with the flavour, and also the caramelisation. The Pembrokeshire Murders was really good. Beautiful scenery, as you said. I think a few of the scenes were filmed in my town of Barry 🙂🏴

Very helpful. But Palm fat harms Elephants. You could make your own sub palm with butter or good ole British rapseed. 👌🏾. Your plant behind put some banana peel in water overnight and water it. Clip off any brown leaves. The potassium in water boosts green in leaves. Use foam 2 pieces wrapped in velvet in each square. Using the split to put strap in 👌🏾

As I am also doing a whole house declutter and clean out, it was nice to see how you go about getting it done. I made the decision to do my clean out when I was putting away laundry a couple of weeks ago and could just barely fit in the hang up clothes in my closet. I am a widow and live alone and apparently have an awful shopping addiction as I have a double closet, 8 drawers, 6 shelves and 4 bins stuffed full of clothes, shoes, purses and misc. items. Then I began to notice that every nook, cranny and closet was in the same condition. So, I am in the process of a whole house clean out. Determined to reduce by 50-75%. I am looking forward to my home being more relaxing and comfortable when I am done. Then I am going to practice one item in-one like item out to keep it from getting to this point ever again. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it!

The only thing I would say is that it takes ages for them to get the donated clothes up and live so I'm now decluttering my summer clothes rather than winter as those will be live in about 10 weeks. Great to be able to choose what charity you want the proceeds to go to.

Hi Mr C, Great that you're so cheerful during lockdown. I've been clearing out my wardrobe and taking unwanted items to the charity bins at recycling points.....but Thrift+ is a genius idea. Quick tip on yr casserole, I find if you toss the meat in plain flour before browning, not only does it add a little something to the taste it also helps thicken you sauce or gravy. I tend to use a tin of tomatoes mixed herbs and a stock cube. Delish. I've been glued to the Pembrokeshire Murders, I live in Pembs and remember the story at the time. Beautiful place!

Hello, love a good clearout. Had a thought re your watch box, have u thought of getting a pool noodle( not sure what you call them in the UK) and cutting to size,to use to prop your watches. Painting the box is a fab idea. Such a good use of a tea box. Must get myself one. Have a great week

I hung Blackout Curtains and gave up sugar,-- or at least after dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at how much my sleep improved. Hope it helps Mr. C!

Love the charity bag idea, I will definitely check it out and the slow cooker beef looked delicious. You could use an old rolled up sock to wrap your watches around, sounds a bit mad but it would cushion and protect the inner strap :)
