Metronome update is great! I have been depending on external applications to do some of this.

1:05 the vertical line snapping will really help people coming from other DAWs. There’s still a steep learning curve, but UI similarities help feel slightly comfortable while getting actually comfortable

When Cubase introduced the metronome and pattern features you now have in Reaper, it was one of those few updates you could really call a game changer. You have no idea how useful this is for tracking!

Thank you, Jon! Can you help me with Media Explorer? Now when I insert audio files by selecting and press ENTER in Media Explorer, it stack one above another. So I've got a hamburger of audio files started from the same point. In early versions of Reaper ENTER key in Media Explorer causes audio files insert one by one horizontally which is very handy. I can't see a feature to downgrade to the old ENTER key in Media Explorer behaviour. Am I miss something? Thanx!

I really liked the new metronome feature, but could no use this version on reaper because it the record pre-roll click accents is wrong when starting from the first measure. It sounds backwards. Don't know if is a bug or am I missing something, or the fact that I'm using a custom click file.

Cool. I like the vertical mouse line, that's pretty usefull especially when chopping up and moving entire sections for arrangements...wich I find myself doing fairly often. And having metronome options is nice, it can be hard to follow a click track sometimes

This is by far the best update. The metronome update instantly makes Reaper better in a million ways. Now Reaper needs to have Effects rack and a Drum rack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see you like me like to work smarter not harder .That brings me to my question that no one has answred when i import a file ( track) it use to come up with what tempo te track was now I dont see that no more ... how do we bring that back . appreciate the way you teach .looking forward to a reply ps I have reaper 7.19 love that new center line marker now .Although like to see what bmp the imported track is . by default I have timee 120 bmp .

Option to only show vertical line when pressing command or shift cause otherwise i think it’s an eye sore in my opinion.

Yes exactly! I'm not sure why this option isn't in the Mouse Modifiers section. That would allow for the exact same behaviour, with the added option to customise it.

Yeah I'd like it to only be there when I'm dragging regions. The main use case I can think of for this is lining up transients which is only really something I do when dragging media
