Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Twinmotion 2024.1 in the comments below! :)

Hi there. Such a great video! Do you perhaps have any tutorials on interactive lighting? For VR use.

I've watched a few videos since the 2024 version came out, but this is the one I find easiest to understand. You explain things well and clearly. Thank you for that and please keep up the good work. Best regards from Germany.

Hi Justin , hello everyone from Italy, have you noticed that when you import a Sketchup (2024) object with default material, the materials applied within Twinmotion (2024.1 + Direct Link Plugin) are scaled badly (1:100)? Has anyone managed to solve it? P.s. Congratulations for your work!

@Thesketchupessentials yes ive had the same issue. Workaround is to use UV map extension in sketchup but its pretty tedious to go through every surface thats affected. If theres a better way Id love to know.

@@MissingL1nk I found a simple solution that bypasses the problem. For now, let's avoid using the Plugin provided by Twinmotion, which clearly has an issue that they will probably update with the next upgrades. At this stage, it's better to save the Sketchup file and import it as geometry. This way, the UV maps work perfectly. If the project undergoes changes in Sketchup, there's no problem: save the model and update the external reference in Twinmotion (just like you do in Layout when updating a modified Sketchup model). I hope this has been helpful. Let me know if it works for you.

Hello everyone, I am creating sectional cut through renders on twinmotion - However, the section cuts through and for some reason messes with the wall build up. How can I add fill to sliced geometry? I am working from Sketchup to twinmotion and creating a 3D floor plan. Please if someone can help!

God I wish this was in Unity - Building my VR worlds would sure be s lot easier. i like how this is solely about being truly creative without the annoying need to be constantly technical.

Yeah that's why I haven't really utilized the Unreal Engine export functions at all - in game engine terms it might be a great workflow, but like you said, it becomes very clunky and technical really fast, where working in Twinmotion is really easy
