The new 3+2 Automatic Roughing is extremely fast to program and can be configured for fully automatic or manual use to match up with the geometry of the part. The toolpath searches for material to remove from multiple different angles, saving a lot of the setup time that would otherwise be required with individual toolpaths. It is important to note that the 3+2 automatic toolpath is great for fast programming and suitable for copying toolpaths from one part to another, but faster cycle times can be achieved by high-speed toolpaths.
