You said that if the compass was not in the 3rd position you wouldn't get "any of that". However, that is incorrect. Regardless of where the compass is in the order, you can flip it to get the fur if it has a xheckmark. Only the dot item matters when it comes to positioning.

It didn't matter that the trap was in the second position, there was no prep reward.

You can't take the backpack with a sprite action, it is an orange icon. You must take the feet with the sprite action.

Why didn't you flip your trap to fur when you could on the 3rd card? Fur is very valuable.

You work yourself up thinking ahead about things that aren't even possible. For example, the target getting tge neat, you discarded the target at first because you convinced yourself of this scenario where you were going to lose a tool when there was no chance of that happening. Just focus on doing the tasks 1 at time and getting ut right rather than playing out future moves in your head tgat can't occur.

You said that you'd take damage if the axe was not in the first position, but that is incorrect. Again, only the dot item is dependent on positioning. The axe could have been in the 4th position and you would have not been damaged.

That's a so important information. We all thought that position was important gor all encounters

After watching these videos, it's pretty obvious that you consistently get too far ahead of yourself instead of doing things one step at a time. For example it made no sense to get a compass when you can sell fur then upgrade. You can get a compass later. Try to focus better on the here and now and you'll make less mistakes. Another example is the tower card. "I'll just use side one" instead of first reading the card. All in all, you just need to calm down a bit, put on a level of maturity and not rush ahead. I think that will help you immensely.
