Hi Simon Thanks for the great instruction video about Selection Program, i have try to use it in NX2007, but it seams it was only working with Workplanes ? as reference for selection ?, i hope soon you have some video also about how the -Prediction selection comand Also i know why the command group face is over processing after you finalize the selection program (it is not a bug) - the Reason is because you have the option Find Clone and Find Relate Face enable , if you disable it you will see it will not over process... Please try and let me know if i was correct or not :)

Edge blend consumes edge. Outer edges of face selection intent rule allows face selection because face can be selected with feature faces rule. Edge can not be selected with feature rule. So here face selection is allowed by selection intent rule. Selection program is nothing but new selection intent rule and should be considered as other rules. If "outer edges of face created by a pattern feature" is allowed in selection program then it will become more complicated. Selection program allows only those entity selection which are consumed/can be referenced by parent comma d from which selection program is launched. Edge blend consumes edges thats why only edges are allowed in selection program here.

Nx Siemens hasn't enogh toturial content, although nx is power software, but until hasn't user-friendly interface and toturial content... As you can see the number of contact that share a comment
