While you were shooting did you adjust your exposure with your shutter (I saw it at 1/500 @1:45 and it sounds like the aperture is locked at f4)? Are you using an ND filter to allow you to keep your shutter speed inline with your frame rate? That was my biggest issue with the mark 1 (along with the lack of AF, which it sounds like they sort of fixed).

when filming does it have manual control over the shutter speed and the iso, can they be set say at 6o fps shutter speed and fix the iso at say 400 then use a vari ND filter to adjust exposure (as an example)?

Looks like this is year is becoming the year of really great LITTLE cameras. On paper, it makes sense that the low light performance would be better than the Pocket Osmo and GoPro7Black, but lets see a comparison. The Pocket Osmo is my daytime camera of choice, but can't go beyond iso 400. Show us some low light comparisons please.

Hey Jason. Quick Question, (or anyone who sees this). I'm thinking about switching to Sony based off the close-minded interview from the Fuji CEO. Do the Sigma E mount lenses have a loud auto-focus motor? Can you hear it in video? The Sigma 24 and 35mm 1.4's?

That autofocus problem is the biggest turn-off. Started to get excited about it as I am looking to get an action cam in the future to have next to my A7III cameras. I honestly, don't care about the 4k that much, but more about image quality and autofocus, battery life, the camera not overheating and all that. Hope the next one will be better.

Man I'm really happy that Sony moved forward with this because i thought it was done! lol I turned mines back in on day three because it was overheating on me within 5 to 10mins but I loved the size and format of it. I would buy it again in a heart beat if it dont overheat (much) lol at least 20 to 30 mins i'll be fine. The new updates seem cool. Please let me know if its ok when you get back the #1 thing is overheating for me. Looks good Jason thanks for the info. Go RX02 $699 WTH!!! lol but I did like it better than the GoPro for what i was doing with it. Just me

Actually, I really like GoPro view angle and also price is cheaper than RX0 II almost 50%. But, I do not like GoPro about theirs reliability. They're always not working that need to remove the battery and restart again. GoPro Pro - Epic wide angle, price, more accessery, Hyperlapse, Stabilizer is better than RX0 II (my opinion) Con - Reliability RX0 II Pro - Flip screen, tough, bigger sensor, reliability (my opinion, I have A6500 which has no minor issue like GoPro), Slog Con - Price and ordinary angle (24 mm.) Anyway, good review Bro. :)

Depending on your needs I guess. Definitely not for me. RX100 VI has (roughly) 10x optical zoom to begin with, not to mention better controls, AF-C, etc. After watching this video me thinks "RX0 II... Expensive piece of garbage". I am wondering if low light is better than GoPro 7 though.

I’m Sony user and fan but: - Is 24mm wide enough for vlogging/action cam? I say no. - Should be at least f/2.8 if not f/2 or f/1.8. GoPro lags in low light. Sony’s larger sensor and if they included a faster aperture would have been a huge selling point. - No Cont-AF? That’s Crazy! - $699 is WAY too expensive! RX0 mk1 didn’t make sense and not sure who it was marketed too. The Mkii has some better features but don’t think it’s going to be a big hit with the price point. I don’t want to make everything about price but Sony should think about price more when it comes to the under 1500 cameras. They are just too high. There’s a reason we see tons of Canon Rebels and GoPros out there.
