What's NEW with the 2025 KTM dirtbikes?

THe 2025 KTM dirt bike line up has a few new changes that should make a BIG difference in overall feel on the bike! I headed to AEO Powersports in Mesa, Arizona to catch up with my good friend Sonic, to give us a quick rundown.

Yeah but it’s the only bike that’s has the kind of reliability it does. Yamaha is trash. Ktm even had a 100 hour no maintenance challenge and it beasted with zero issues meanwhile Yamaha won’t go passed 30 hours with repairs or replacements needed in the motor

​@christophervillarreal8565 saying yamahas are trash is a bit of a stretch. I never had a problem with a yamaha, and they are probably the best japanese bike out. The yz 125 and 250 are a great bike.

REGARDING, the linkage... If I am not mistaken the linkage has had the same components since it was introduced in 2011 all the way till 2020 or 2022. I was digging into my 2023XC linkage and lost a needle bearing, I had a kit for the older model, and nothing would fit, not even 1 needle bearing. I am wondering if they went back to the older size bearings, otherwise I will toss the older bearing kit out, or donate it to someone.

Did they fix the stupid ass fuel pick up in the fuel tank? What an unbelievably stupid engineering decision they made. My brand new 2024 300 suffers from low fuel mileage with fuel left in the tank when you run out. Absolutely ridiculous.

That actually came in handy once. I don't have a fuel light, and I forgot to get gas once. I ran out, laid the bike on its side and rode another 10 miles to the gas station.

Get carbs back on the 2 strokes , those 125’s have gone from being the best to being unreliable , underpowered junk - why on Earth would anyone add weight , complexity and cost for only negative benefits , KTM needs reevaluate it’s engineers as they are failing too often with ridiculous and undeveloped idea’s .

I’ve heard of 1 maybe 2 bad stories about the 125 efi bikes other than that have heard nothing but people say they will never own a carb bike.

I’ve had no problems with my KTM 2 strokes. No one I know is complaining about the new gen KTM group 2 stroke bikes.

@@HailMich well unfortunately here in the Uk a lot of TBi MX bikes have blown to bits , now they cannot sell them unless heavily discounted , customers want Carb bikes and no longer trust the TBi ! The quality and reliability has hugely dropped .
