For those saying One Life is a title of another SMP series, I know that; and I wasn't trying to say it has to be this title. The original title idea had for "One Life" was "Multi Life", I just did "One Life" because the bit of the series "Third, Last, Double, and Limited" They arent in order so having One being at the very end it, is the bit. :)

Here's my idea: Secret Life! Everyone is given 2-6 lives at the start of the series, similar to Last Life. Other player's names are gray until they have one life, where they turn red. This means you don't know how many lives another player has unless they're red, or unless they tell you. They of course would likely only tell their allies, and have no reason not to lie about their life count. Every session, there is a random chance for each player to gain or lose one life (and a chance for nothing to happen). This way, even if you knew how many lives someone had the week before, there's still an air of uncertainty. Boogies are not cured if they kill a player with less lives than them. In fact, they lose a life if they do so. They can only kill players with more lives than them. But because they'll only know their allies' life counts, this encourages Boogies to either kill their allies, or take a big risk. This means, way more drama!! And that's my idea. Please let me know what you think in the comments, I'd love some feedback to refine it!

I think my only real issue with this is the random natute could end up being unfair, which would hurt that players content, I think it's better for randomised aspects to have sine aspect of player control (I.e. the boogeyman works because whoever gets picked has the opportunity to prevent themselves losing lives/in some cases benefit)

I think the random lose/gain a life bit is someone could potentially get a good roll every session and be sitting on many lives. Maybe a modification to that idea is the Boogey man can tell which players have less than their own number of lives, but not if it's equal or more than their lives. Boogey killing someone with equal lives as themselves doesn't cure them so they have to find someone else until they are.

I hope Grian and the rest of the lifers see this video and a few of the comments below that have suggested mechanics. It's certainly an easier way to "source" ideas for a next season if there's enough interest from the community and the creators. At the very least, they can take these ideas and workshop them and test them to figure out what works or doesn't. This seems to be the case with the Boogeyman aspect and a "more than 3 lives" setup (see Last & Limited Life)

Another idea: Boogey Life: It’s the same as last life, in saying that everyone gets a random amount of lives from 2-6, the change is with a boogeyman mechanic. Unlike other seasons, where only one person is the boogeyman, everyone is the boogeyman, but they have a target. Their target is a random person on the SMP, and no two people can have the same target, meaning everyone has a target on their back, but no more than one. If you successfully kill your target, you gain a life. If you don’t, you lose a life in the next session. The only people that are allowed to kill someone besides their target are reds, but they don’t get a life for killing someone that is not their target. Reds have a target, just like yellows and greens, and REDS CAN BE ELIMINATED BY NOT KILLING THEIR TARGET. (If you liked this read the other ideas I replied to this comment with)
@Aquafic
@Aquafic Жыл бұрын
Also, Bounty Life: It’s kind of an opposite boogeyman. It’s just like 3rd life, three lives, but there is a way to get more. At the beginning of the session, a random person gets a bounty put on their head. It’s is told to the entire server, and whoever kills them gets a life, but if you survive with a bounty, you get a life the next session. Teammates can protect or turn on their friends, and it gives yellows and greens a chance to kill.
@Aquafic
@Aquafic Жыл бұрын
One more, the worst one, Effect Life: 2 lives like 3rd life. Everyone starts with one effect, that they can see where effects usually go. When you die, you gain an effect, so yellow 2, reds 3. Every time a red gets a kill, they gain one more effect, so red with a kill has 4, then 5, and so on. There is also a boogeyman. If the boogeyman gets a kill, they get an effect. If they don’t, they get set to red without gaining the effects of dying on the rest of the live they had. If a boogey failed on yellow, they have 2 effects and are red. If a boogey failed on green, they have 1 effect and are red. EFFECTS ARE ALWAYS GOOD.

I like the original comment idea, except I think the server might be over a little too fast. If maybe 3-5 people were chosen to hunt someone, that might work a bit better. I also think red names should not be part of the group of people someone might have to kill, seeing how in previous seasons the boogeyman had to kill a green or yellow name to be cured.

I've thought about an idea for a potential new series that I've dubbed "Linked Life." I think of it similarly to Double Life where your life is connected to someone else, but each session it would be a different person. You could get paired up with someone the same color as you or someone who has more or less life than you, which could lead to strategic deaths if you get paired with an enemy for a session.

I’ve always had an idea for one season and I would call it “Afterlife” where it’s just like last life but after your out, you don’t get put into spectator, you get put in adventure mode where you can’t collect resources and you have to rely on the friends you made throughout the series to give you tools, BECAUSE you have a timer for you to kill someone, if you succeed you go back in the game with one life, but if you fail your out. EDIT: since afterlife is already taken, other names could be second life, extra life or bonus life, or something like that

I hope they do "King's Life". Rules: 1. The 4 winners of the previous life series will become the King 2. The king may choose 3-4 team members to be their pawns 3. Everyone have infinite life EXCEPT the king who only got 3 lives 4. At first everyone will be green life and everyone will be neutral, but when the king loose 1 life, they will become yellow, and if the king loose 2 life, they will become red 5. If the king become green or yellow, nobody on their team may attack anyone. But if the king become red, everyone on their team may attack anyone 6. If the king dies on red life, a random player on his team will be eliminated instead. The king will only die if they loose all their life and pawns. 7. Boogeyman will not exist, but instead it will become Wanted man. Wanted man will be a random player, the king and their team have to protect the man who become wanted, If they survive until the end of time, their king will get 1 life, but if the wanted man killed, their king's will loose 1 life. 8. The last king that survive will become the "King of Life". Reason why "King's Life": I think it will be cool if all player get a little bit motivation to become a winner in each Life series. As of now, nobody really care if they loose in the life series. So with this end game of life series they will want to become the next king on the next "King's" Life". This "King's Life" will also become something like the end of the season for the life series.

Oh, this is a pretty interesting idea. (it was kinda was explored in 3rd Life with Ren and Scar as the "leaders" of a small group.) However, I think that there needs to be some adjustments like maybe giving the king a reason to not just stay hidden and for the kingdoms to fight. Like maybe the king has powers where if they kill a pawn, they convert them into their team. Maybe have a traitor in each group that helps a random king in some way. The reason why I like having incentives to kill someone is it just makes it more interesting. It's one of the main reasons why I liked Limited Life a bit more and it makes it a lot more chaotic. We essentially got 2 end of the series compared to the other series where the main chaos was at the end, similar to having 2 arcs in a show.

I'm thinking that there could be a season ("Night Life" or something like that) where the section of the world they're in is completely encased in bedrock, preventing any light from naturally falling on the world. It would encourage players to make heavy use of torches, lava, brown mushrooms, glow lichen, and everything else to see. Simply gathering resources would be a risky adventure.

It is probably a coincidence, but I noticed there is a bit of a pattern. Third and Double both use the classic 3 lives system while Last and Limited use an alternate life system with more flexibility. It is likely that wasn't intended, but it is possible the fifth life series could return to the classic 3 lives somehow. One idea I've been toying around with is some sort of "After Life" where dead players could come back as specters/ghosts. This would require more modding than they may be willing to do, but the life series has gotten more modded over time. A rough draft of this concept is that when you die, you stay dead for 10 minutes after your first life, 20 for your second, and 30 for your final life. When that death timer runs out, you respawn (or die for good if you were on your last life). But every five minutes, the server has say a 1 in 5 chance to "revive" a random dead player as a Specter. The specter would be similar but different to the boogeyman. I imagine it as having creative mode flight but survival block place/break rules. The specter is given 30 minutes to kill a player and if they do, they are immediately given one life and revived at spawn. If they die, they just respawn as the specter back at spawn but if the 30 minutes runs out without them getting any kills, they could suffer a penalty. Also, since players would be in a limbo state after death, this could also allow for some sort of resurrection mechanic. So if someone lost their last life, their teammates would have 30 minutes to attempt to revive them, whatever the cost may be, before they are gone for good. I think there could be a neat series here but the mechanics might feel too complex and involved. Another idea I'd love to see is another team-based series. Trios instead of Duos could work well. One mechanic that I have not fleshed out yet is the possibility that teams share lives, but dying kicks you out of the team. For example, if player A, B, and C are on a team with green lives, if player B dies then Players A and C remain on the team as Yellow lives while player B would be solo with Yellow or Red Lives. This mechanic would work well for the red lives (e.g. a two-player team on yellow turns into two solo players on red if one dies), but I am not sure how the green to yellow should be handled. The first death turning the player who died red may be too harsh but if the first player who dies goes from green in a team to yellow solo, it could make death more advantageous than detrimental since solo has less risk than teams... I suppose one way to resolve this is to give the team 5 or so lives and kick a player from the team on their second personal death. So if one player died twice, they'd be red and out of the team. But if both teammates die twice, the last remaining member of the team would become solo on their red life. Another idea I could see working well, but it needs some workshopping to make it fair and simple.

New Idea: Balanced Life (This whole idea is based upon previous games so new players would be hard to fit in to it.) People are assigned 10-1 lives based upon their previous rankings in other life series. (Ex: Jimmy would be assigned 10 while the 4 winners would be assigned 1 life.) Lives can be traded like in Last Life but (unlike Limited Life) can not be stolen through kills unless... (see later). The real concept is based on rules that are put upon a player based on their lives. Here are some examples of rules that may be able to be put in place. 9+:No PVP, Traps, Self Defense, Stealing (Basically can only run from battles) 6+:Self Defense is enabled only through PVP (no traps) 3+:Self Defense with traps enabled 2: Can kill all but yellows and reds(unless self defense) 1: No rules!!! The Boogey makes a return with an extra reward for the person. The boogey can only be someone with less than 6 lives with higher chances for people who have 1, 2, or 3 lives. There are at least 2 boogeyman every session (with lessening odds for more boogeyman). Whoever is the boogeyman's target has two lives taken away from them while the murderer gets one life back. Another concept for the boogey could be a tag type boogey where if you die by the boogey you don't lose a life but get infected with the curse. Whoever has it by the end of the session gets knocked down a peg. (So 9+ goes to 6+ which goes to 3 and so on). This could be a great way of balancing out the odds for all the players so that people like Smajor don't always win. (Did you know that Scott's the only one who has been in every winning alliance in all the series) . It could also be a great way to end the series by paying homage to the other series.
@trenth.7053
@trenth.7053 Жыл бұрын
This is actually genius. But instead of winners getting 1 life, they average all lives between the seasons you were in. So Scott, for example, came 10, 1, 2, 3. Add those together, 16, divide by the # of seasons they were in = 4. He starts with 4. Someone like Lizzie, 13, would get 10 since her life count is higher than 10. Ren, 7, 2, 12 = 21 /3 = 7. Because starting someone on 1 life is gonna end badly no matter what, even if they are a Victor, because I don’t see Scott, Grian, Martyn, or Pearl surviving past 2-3 episodes with 1 life, and especially because the players who have 6+ are gonna be targeted a lot. Makes it more fair. New players would start with 5 or 10 either way it’d be fair for them.

Chosen Life I tried my best to spice up the life series, while still keeping the fundamentals! The main gimmick of this series would be the voting. At the end of each episode, the players will all vote for someone that they want to lose a life. Each vote would increase the chance of that person being chosen (imagine like a wheel, the more times you get voted, the amount of times your name appears on the wheel increases) Just for the hell of it, all the ghosts can vote people as well. Additionally, we would have a new role, The Jester. If The Jester gets voted out, not only will they not lose a life, they will get to choose who loses a life. Please tell me what you think about this idea!

I think it would be fun if there was one called numbered life or something like that where each player has 300 hearts when you loose health you can’t regenerate it (maybe you could if your boogie man or something). So the little heart you loose from fall damage every once in a while would really add up. To prevent someone from falling in lava and loosing all your hearts is when you take 20 hearts of damage within the span of 1-2 minutes you die and respawn. When you’re above 200 hearts you’re green 100 you’re yellow and below 100 is when you become red. I think this would be a fun idea since falldamage would be a real enemy.

Here's my take: Instead of 300 hearts, every player has 100 lives; however, every ten hearts of damage a player takes costs them one life. If a player dies, they lose another life. A player is green when above 60 lives, yellow above 30 and red when they're on their last thirty lives. The Boogeyman, if present, must kill another player or lose 30 lives. Note that such a series would spawn a longer amount of time than other 'Life' series; this is mostly because of the high life count. This can be mitigated somewhat by also forcing all players to forfeit one life per hour.

How about this, After Life. How it could work is there is the classic three lives, but after you die, you go to the next colour but are put in spectator mode until the half time break or (if break has already finished), the rest of the session. It means you can help your teammates by notifying them if a Minecart is about to fall on their head or something. You are only do direct kills at your red life, but can set passive traps at yellow. The boogeyman is not a thing. Suggestions?
@lucaspiano76
@lucaspiano76 Жыл бұрын
My idea is to combine the previous 3 seasons. You start with a random selection of life’s, 2-6, the bogey man is back (of course) however now at the start of each session two players will get soul-bound for a session, I think this would be interesting because it could force enemy’s to team up. Then finally once you lose your last life you become a dark red life (or maybe a purple life) in this life you have 1 hour to life, when you die, you lose a hour, however every kill you get is 30+ min. The dark red life’s can not go back up but they can gain as much time as kills they can get.

I had another idea: Full life It’s similar to Limited life because you can live for 24 hours. But instead of it being hours, it’s your age. You start at age 0 and every hour you become 4 years older. You can live up to the age of 96. Every session can still be 3 hours because that would mean that there will still be 8 episodes (yes I did the math) If you die you become 4 years older and if you kill someone you become 2 years younger. But that’s not the only change, the most important part is that you have buffs and debuts for every life stage. So for the first 12 years you fall slower (can still take damage) so you have more time to react and place a water bucket. But your body just isn’t that big so you’re slower. And in the third 12 years you are longer then a normal player but you are quicker in return. This gives every life stage a unique way to survive and slow them down and it balances it And I just had to add the boogeyman too, if the boogeyman kills you you become 8 years older and if you kill as the boogeyman you become 4 years younger If you read all that (no one probably will) then thank you for listening to my idea, let me know what you think of it

I have an idea for a new season of Third Life. I don't have the best name for it but the current one is "Layered Life." How it works is kind of like Double Life, in the sense that it's like third life, but with one big gimmick. The one here is that there are actually three maps, all 300 by 300, with everyone spawning randomly between them. They are also next to each other, so people can talk through the borders. The only way to go between them is between three nether portals that all lead to the same nether area. This could lead to a lot of hide and seek moments, or maybe fights with arrows between two borders. There is another version I made where there are instead four squares being 400 by 400 in a square shape, and in the middle is an area where everyone can meet up. Edit: I have read everyone's comments and you guys have some pretty good ideas, but I don't want to make it too gimmicky, so I'd probably just have it the way it is. The thing is, I want everyone to be able to do the same things in terms of moving, but reds should still be the only ones able to kill (unless there's a boogeyman, which there's not) so I think I'd make it the four square version.

What if everytime you lose a heart you are restricted to a layer. For example, if you’re on green you can go to any of the levels, if you’re only yellow you can only go to the last two levels, and if you’re red restricted to the last level. Edit: actually I think it’d be better if reds could go to any level but yellow and green could only go to 1 or 2

I thought of a variation of Limited Life once, where you could actually "seal" your alliances, let's take for example, T.I.E.S. let's assume that they "sealed" their alliance together, any member dying would lose 15min and make the others lose 15min as well, similarly, getting a kill would only give 7.5min but for each member of the alliance. Where it could get interesting is that, alliances are not public, sure everyone knows T.I.E.S. is a solid alliance, but not everyone is aware that Etho had a diamond sword pact with Grian, if Etho had an alliance "sealed" with Grian secretly, then his time gain/lose would be split into 5 with a fifth going to him, the other T.I.E.S. members AND Grian (but no one is really aware of that). Of course you could leave an alliance upon getting a kill, but that would just mark you as someone that can't be trusted, might be hard getting back into an alliance with selfish behavior. This kind of mechanic could have complimented the Boogeyman adding another layer of potential treason in the form of the secretly "sealed" alliances. The actual group of peoples playing together (T.I.E.S./Bad Boys/Clockers) would vary a lot depending on some members secret alliances, it would make the whole series very dynamic because of all the moving pieces composing it.

i wanna join! idea: based of limited life ep1. starts with the same amount of lives, anywhere between 6-20ish and the boogey man is treated like hot potato, and keeps getting re rolled till the end of the session. whoever has it at the end looses the amount of lives equal to the episode number they’re on.

It'd be cool if they did a series where you might be forced to do unconventional kills, like no main weapons and no tnt or lava. Maybe everyone should have feather falling because those deaths, while comically funny, can become pretty common so it'd be cool to shake it up and see how everyone responds creatively.

Well, here's my essay of a comment on an idea I've come up with: "Stolen Life." *TLDR at bottom* In Stolen Life, everyone starts with, let's say 8 lives. When the server starts, everyone starts with a tracking compass. After a short period, they will all point to an item (Dragon Egg? Heart of the Sea? Netherite Helmet?) called the “McGuffin” which spawns on an altar in the center of the map. When held, the McGuffin makes you a BLUE and gives weakness, mining fatigue, and glowing; but also fills your “Life Timer.” The exception to this rule is the REDs, who gain no ill effects and are presented with an opportunity to become YELLOW again (more on that later). Members must hold the McGuffin for a certain amount of time each session, or else lose a life. The compass always points to the McGuffin, and if the McGuffin is ever placed down or put in a container, it will gain a glowing outline. If the BLUE player holding the McGuffin is killed, they only drop the McGuffin. If the McGuffin is ever destroyed, it will be announced in chat, and will respawn at its altar in the middle of the map following a short cool-down. This will incentivize members to become more creative and make traps that don't explode items upon activation. However, it is important to know that even if every member is completely altruistic and passes off the McGuffin as soon as their own Life Timer fills, there simply won't be enough time in each session for everyone to get a turn. This means that even if everyone plays perfectly, some members will always be left behind and lose a life. Additionally, the player's Life Timer grows longer each session alongside the McGuffin's respawn timer, ensuring that any large and overpowering alliances collapse quickly due to infighting. Possession of the McGuffin is reset at the end of each session, with the McGuffin respawning at the altar a short time after starting the next session. This way, even if a team builds an impenetrable base, they are not guaranteed possession of the McGuffin all season long. The colored life tier rules carry over from Last Life, but I don't know if having the boogieman rule makes sense. I personally think it'll become too complicated and may risk ending the series too quickly. The life divisions are as follows. Green = Lives 8-6, Yellow = Lives 5-2, and Red = Life 1. Reds kill anyone, Yellows kill Greens and Blues, Greens kill Blues, Blues can't kill. Anyone can kill the Blue, regardless of their original life color. The BLUE color is purely cosmetic and has no impact on a member's number of lives; meaning the member will eventually revert to their original color after someone else acquires the McGuffin. This is to ensure no members try dropping or destroying the McGuffin mid PvP and then claim that killing them is against the rules. It also shows the members who last possessed the McGuffin. As there is only 1 McGuffin, there can only be, at most, 1 BLUE at a time. I think that the beauty of this idea comes from the unique social situations it can create. Here's how I'd envision this series playing out. In the opening Green phase of the series, it'll be all about trying to play nice and convince whoever holds the McGuffin to share it with you. Everyone’s Green, so no one can kill anyone else for now, meaning that the only person at risk is the current BLUE player. Aggression at this stage can only put you at a disadvantage, since you will become unable to act upon your threats the moment you hold the McGuffin and become the BLUE yourself. Also, killing the BLUE while you’re GREEN will paint a target on your back and should make you an enemy to most others on the server. By the end of the first session, a lot of members will assume that playing fairly and taking turns will benefit them. However, a few unlucky members will learn the hard way that playing nice doesn't guarantee survival, and they will be left behind; losing their lives by simply following "the rules." These unfortunate players will feel slighted by the others and will be presented with a great opportunity to create drama. In the middle Yellow phase, the members will have wizened up to the game by now. They’ll begin to employ dishonest strategies to ensure they get time with the egg, and sneakily deprive others from gaining access to it. One strategy that comes to mind is by lying to others about how much time with the McGuffin they need. As it is time inefficient to constantly monitor who is in possession of the McGuffin, and there is no broadcasted message for when a player fills their Life Timer, trust will quickly become a rare commodity. The altar will become a hotly contested danger zone, with groups vying for control of it and laying a multitude of traps. Alliances will be tested, and blood will be shed. The members will have learned that honesty and playing fair is weakness, and the only way to survive is through lying, hostility, and jealously hoarding the McGuffin. Once the first Red emerges, a twist is revealed. While they can still be tracked via their compass, a Red isn't negatively affected by the McGuffin, as they won't be labeled BLUE nor gain the debuffs by holding it. Additionally, they gain the opportunity to become yellow again. They can do so if they hold the McGuffin long enough to fill their Life Timer... twice. They still need the McGuffin just as much as anyone else and will die permanently if they fail to fill their Life Timer at least once. The Yellows may try to placate the Reds at first by relinquishing possession of the McGuffin to them, but doing so will only doom more Yellows to turn Red. The Red Wars will begin in earnest shortly after. I think that the cool thing is, you don't even need to fight to win. Even if you are outmanned or outgunned, to win, all you need to do is get the McGuffin and wait out the clock. This will likely be the winning playstyle: steal the McGuffin, evade detection, go as far away from the altar as possible, and threaten to destroy it if anyone comes too close. A playstyle which is unforgivably greedy. And as Martyn showed, being greedy is the only way to win in the life series. I believe this idea has great potential for interesting interactions and betrayals. There will likely be many opportunities for heart-felt goodbyes to teammates who know they didn't get enough time. It will create a variety of playstyles and encourage the creation of new traps beyond standard tnt minecarts. It's a novel concept for the Life Series and utilizes gameplay mechanics that shouldn't be too confusing for viewers. (I'm still unsure about the name though :/ Oh well. Anyways, thanks for reading my thesis about the block game series.) ------------- *TLDR* Stolen Life has 8 lives, but each player needs to hold the special “McGuffin” item for long enough to fill their “Life Timer,” or else they lose a life. All players can track who has the McGuffin, and there is not enough time per session for everyone to fill their timer.

I had an idea about using money in place of the lives. For example, everyone starts with 100$ and you lose 20$ every time you die. Different thresholds of money would also constitute differences between green, yellow, and red lives. There would be different quests you can do throughout the series to gain money and the money you have can be used in an in-game shop where you can buy items. I like this idea because every player will have to develop their own strategy about how they want to use their money, whether it’s buying OP items or trying to save up as much money as possible. It would also be the only series where you would intentionally “give away” your own life; you would have to calculate if investments are worth it or not. The logistics of how much money you get from quests, what quests will be in the game, and shop prices will be very hard to balance but I think it would be a really cool series.

High life: At the start of the series every person is given one positive effect (speed, jump boost, etc.) when they die they get given another level of that effect (example: speed 2). when they get knocked out of the game whoever killed them gets the level 1 version of the effect that they had. Keep inventory would be on so that nobody has to waste time grinding. the boogeyman would return with the extra rule that if someone gets boogey killed the get a negative effect placed on them for the rest of the session. certain effects would have to be removed as well because they would make PvP less fun such as strength and resistance. overall it could keep content rolling and interesting with certain effects being useful early game but not as much as time goes on causing conflict over effects and lives.

Scar gets Assassin and he needs to kill Bdubs or else he loses 1 life at the end) Dark green - 4+ lives (Can't kill anyone except if your assassin) Green - 3 lives (Can kill dark greens but not yellows or reds but can kill if self defense and assassin) Yellow - 2 lives (Can kill Dark Greens And Greens, can't kill reds unless self defense) Reds - 1 lives (Obv. can kill anyone but can't get assassin)

I would love the idea of a “Buddy Life”. Where each player gets randomly assigned a creature that they can transform into. Imagine the shenanigans that could take place. A cat crawling through the one-block tall tunnels of a secret route, a dolphin making a underwater maze (or trapped underwater base), or a blaze moving through a lava trap. Of course you wouldn’t include mobs like an enderdragon, but it would be absolutely delightful to watch. ESPECIALLY if jimmy got a chicken. The possibilities could go on. I would imagine you are assigned random lives, or a specific amount of lives. Who knows. Maybe people who get worse animals like a chicken can get more lives. Maybe if you manage to get a final kill then you can steal that person’s animal transformation and use it in addition to your own. While it probably won’t happen, as there are some of these concepts are a bit iffy, it’s ultimately up to grian for the next life series. Plus, its a fun idea to think about. Maybe we’ll finally get that “Real Life”. Hunt everyone down irl lol.

Faction Life: 18 players divided in 6 teams of 3, works with the same mechanic as double life, but some new things added. The boogeyman: 1 boggeyman per team is chosen. The factions: Each faction gets 10 flags, 1 on each players and then 7 at their base, each players have two backup ones, so they each have 3 lives. The 10th flag is hidden somewhere in their base, the 10th flag can only be found by players from other factions who have only one player remaining, if they manage to capture a flag and bring it back to their own base without getting killed, the last dead member of that faction comes back to life, on red life. If the boogeyman doesn’t manage to kill someone, they lose a flag. I’ve had this idea for a while. Tag Life. It’s sort of like Limited Life. Everyone has infinite lives, except there is no timer. So, how do you get eliminated? Well, I thought of my own spin on the Boogeyman. Starting from Episode 3 (grace period), one and only one person is randomly selected to be the Boogeyman. Like normal, they have to kill another player to be cured. However, the player that gets killed by the Boogeyman becomes the new Boogeyman, now they have to kill a player. However, they can’t kill the same player that killed them as the Boogeyman (No tag backs), meaning they have to go and kill someone else. During all of this, a timer will appear in the bottom right like in Limited Life. When the timer reaches zero, the session is over, and whoever is the Boogeyman is eliminated from the game instantly. This means, starting from episode 3, one person will be eliminated every episode, possibly making it the longest season of at least 10 episodes. To make things more fair, one, keep inventory is turned on. Two, when you are picked as the first Boogeyman, your chances of being picked again are reset. On the other hand, not being picked as the first Boogeyman will increase your chances to be picked next time. Third, dying will also increase your chances of being picked as the first Boogeyman and thus, put you at risk of being eliminated, so don’t die. Lastly, the no tag back rule is lifted when only four players remain. Personally, I would love to see how this one would play out. It make be a really fun and chaotic season!

I have an idea called connected life: it’s sort of like double life but with a few changes. Everyone starts with a randomly assigned partners. However, you have the ability to switch partners. The only possible way to switch partners is to kill the person you are originally partners with. Ex: Scott is partners with Scar. But Scar wants to be with someone else so Scar has to kill Scott. Scar would then get randomly assigned a new partner switching not only his partner but another groups, however this could lead to a drama filled series because what if the person he switched with liked their partner? How would the old partner feel? I think it’d be very entertaining. The other thing is the boogeyman. If you kill a team as the boogeyman everyone’s partners switch including your own( but you get to choose your new partner). But, if you don’t kill anyone you and your partner both loose a life. Addition info: when you kill your partner they loose a life but not you. You gain the hearts of the other person you randomly get to be partner with. So let’s say Scar and Scott were yellow lives, Scar kills Scott. Scott becomes a red life. Scar ends up getting paired with, joel, a green life. Scar is now a green life while Scott and his partner are red lives. However, the opposite can happen. What of Scar got randomly placed with a red life. He then is now a red life

I was thinking about something like “Civilized Life” Where the concept it, you are Red out the gate, as you are nothing but cavemen, you can only start with wooden to stone tools. Your structures also match the same as the time period you are in. However, once you reach a certain milestone, IE, get a certain amount of an item, or achieve some chaotic feat, you rank up to a modern age, where Iron tools are now accessible as the people have learned to forge Metals into what they wanted. Copper can now be used in this stage too!!! The whole ordeal is to try and reach the Netherite age, where survival is Key. But! The Boogyman would return, upon successful kill would immediately grant the killer a boost in the Age. Yet there’s a twist. There’s Two Boogymen. If one is to fail to get a kill, they are pushed back down to the Stone Age once again. They must preform a great sacrifice in order to restore a single age and must complete the task again. If someone is to die at a certain time period, they are to revert one stage back. If someone in the Stone Age is to die, that’s it for them. Is this a bad idea? Probably. Will it go wrong? Most likely. However I think most people would reach the Modern Age before you even know it. They could implement things like the Gold Rush, allowing the utilization of Gold in things like Piglin Trading. Just curious as to how this would all play out.

I was actually thinking a very similar thing of "one life" - where you have a certain amount of hearts that don't regenerate naturally and you go through stages - also if everybody on the server has lost one heart, you can't get that heart back even with potions (but obviously because of little regeneration, you would have more than 10 but to prevent a huge health bar just make them show in quarters so you can see roughly how much you have on that stage)

I feel like a season based off of Mafia would be fun. The basics of Mafia is that there's two teams, Mafia and Village. Village needs to eliminate Mafia, and Mafia needs to eliminate the village. Mafia can kill consistently, while the Village has the lynch and their abilities. Essentially, they'd still have 3 lives, but each session they're assigned a role, with each role having unique abilities. Each session would always have a "Mafia" type of role, who's main objective is to kill, granting the killer a heart. They will know any player who is also Mafia. They're limited to 1 kill unless they have an ability stating otherwise. Mafia can kill each other. The "Village" roles would be able to counteract, negate, or sabotage the Mafia or other Villagers). These could range from blocking abilities, protecting/healing, etc. They could also do Neutral roles. Like a Fool who gets the heart if Mafia kills them, or a Cult Leader that can convert players for the session to be incapable of hurting other players in the Cult. This gives players a unique experience each time, and has more active gameplay, while not being too punishing or too easy (after all, there's a guaranteed killer each session). Now, there are issues: 1. The Mafia game establishes a day cycle, where players can only use their abilities once a day or night. Giving the players infinite uses would be a bit op, so maybe it can be limited or also be based on the night cycle (but that can be too hectic). 2. Not enough risk. Depending on the roles, there could be not enough risk per session. 3. Too much information. This can be very overwhelming, but it can be fixed by only having some players have roles (like 3-4)

Liquid life Everyone starts on a roughly 10x10 island in the middle of an ocean. The entire series is played within the ocean. Each player has 6 lives (as it’s easier to die in water). There are shipwrecks, ruins, coral, deep dark, and a monument. Each elder guardian grants 1 extra life upon being killed, limited to 1 per person. The green yellow red life system works the same, as well as the boogeyman. There will be less tnt kills, more pvp, more underground fights and water fights (which we rarely see), and food won’t be a problem because kelp is everywhere, and drowned drop food to be farmed.

I was thinking about this after watching limited life, the idea of the skynet sparked my idea of high life. The concept is that each player spawns on a floating platform in a normal world and if they die and tern yellow (after 10 hearts are gone) the platform becomes higher meaning the yellow lives have a higher chance of killing green lives with tnt minecarts, bows etc. Here’s the twist- there is a limit of an hour every session to be able to stay on the acc ground map so each session they have an hour to collect resources otherwise they lose an entire life stage. Red names would be the highest on the map meaning they could kill yellow and green names with a single drop of a tnt minecart. This would also make alliances harder because if u were allianced with someone at green life and they tern yellow there no longer on the same level as u meaning u could become a target until they tern yellow themselves.

My idea for the next life series I actually got while playing on a modded server. Not sure what to call it but I would have players shrink the less lives they got. Green Lives Are normal player size. Yellow your half the size of a green. Red your half the size of the yellow. And all this is already doable. All the code needed already exists in either the origins mod Yellow can use the Dwarf size code. and reds can use the Inchling size code. Or new modern versions of vanilla. Recently we had a April fools version release that uses a new "transform" command This allowed players to change size. This can easily be changed into a mod and added to any current version of the game.

How is this idea, team life: The basic idea of it is that there are 2 teams randomly chosen at the start and they have 100 hours together, they are not soulbound but every time somebody from the team dies they lose an hour, as well as that each player has their own life stages, each session 2 players from each team are randomly chosen to be red, yellow or green. As a red player your aim is to kill any people on the other team, but if you die you lose 4 hours of time, nobody else is allowed to attack you except for other red names. As a yellow player your aim is to once again kill green people on the other team but you may not attack other yellow names or red names, you lose 2 hours when you die. Finally green names have no special perks and are not allowed to start a fight with other players, however they will only lose 1 hour for their team when they die. For every kill made the team who kills will gain 1 hour. When one team is eliminated all the remaining time is divided between all the players on the final team and it will be a fight to the death until your time runs out a lot like limited life.

Idea: ‘HardLife’ At the beginning of the season you are randomly given a difficulty. Easy: Take less damage, inflict more damage, easier enchants etc. Medium: normal gameplay. Hard: Takes more damage, inflicts less damage, harder enchants etc. If you kill someone, you swap difficulties. You can also trade you difficulties. There is a boogeyman so you have to be very careful who you kill. Everyone has up to 6 (number is randomised like last life) lives; Dark green: 5-6 lives, Green: 3-4 lives, Yellow: 2 lives, Red 1 life.

Here’s my pitch: Half life Similar to last life everyone gets 2-6 lives. Halfway through the session everybody will be treated like a boogey and can kill anyone, but doesn’t have to. Red lives can kill whenever they want though. And because we like drama the actual boogeyman would only be able to kill during peace period if they fail then they are unable to kill or fight back during “murder time.” There can be more than one boogey and if they die during “murder time” they are able to kill again. Edit: I’m gonna add to this because I really like the concept. The boogeyman if they got a kill would be able to have 2 lives during murder time but only for that’s session. For example, if you boogied as a green life, for murder time you’d have to be killed twice to turn to yellow.

IDEA: ColorBound Life, Starts the same as last life, except peoplewith 2 lives will be orange, 3 will be yellow, 4 will be light green, 5 will be dark green, people with 6 lives will be dark aqua instead of dark green, people with 7 lives will be light aqua, 8 lives will be blue, 9 lives will be purple, 10 will be light purple, 11 will be magenta and 12 will be pink. Every one with the same color/amount of lives will share a healthbar, just like double life, but when they die, ONLY the player that TAKES the killing hit loses a life, and no one else of the same color loses a life. The /givelife command takes one of YOUR lives and gives it to the person you give it to, therefor changing both of your colors. When someone changes their color, they immediately get the same health bar as the ones of the same color, before the rest of their colormates change healthbar. It starts with everyone being given a random number ranging from 3 to 8, and the boogey also returns. The boogie now has a timer that shows him how long he has left to get someone else. If that timer expires, ONLY HE will be placed at ORANGE (not red, everyone from yellow/above can be selected as boogey, but if they fail to cure themselves before the timer expires and they are below yellow they will just lose 1 life, when they expire while being red they will be modified to a temporary 0 lives, having the same color as red, and then /killed, placing them at -1 lives, the amount that you automatically get when entering spectator mode, then the player is eliminated), and when someone red dies, (therefor eliminating them) all the other reds die, but WITHOUT LOSING A LIFE, therefor they respawn. If someone dies, all of its colormates die, but ONLY the person taking the deciding hit loses a life. Boogeys must kill someone with 3 or more lives, whoever gets killed by the boogie loses 2 lives instead of 1. If a boogeykill gets multiple people, the boogey gains an extra life for every player that he got with the same, for example, skynet tnt minecart, minus 1

Something like “Traveling life” or “exploration life” where every session is in a new area like moving a 30-30 chunk border to a new area before every session.So on the first day you could be in a forest or plains biome and the next session be farther out in the world in a jungle or mountain biome. This could add a more conservative approach like keeping your stuff to your inventory and an uncertainty to where you would be next. It could end with the “last” session in the chunk of the first so the reds battle in the remains of their humble beginnings. This is just an idea that came to my head while watching and I think seeing something like this would be interesting.

One idea that I had was something called ‘Forbidden Life’, where each session every player is assigned an action that they are forbidden to do. If they do this action they would lose a life. I think it would be interesting to see new tactics that this mechanic would bring, with people trying to figure out your forbidden action and trying to trick you into doing it. I don’t know exactly what the forbidden actions would consist of, but it could be something like ‘don’t hold an item in your off hand’ or ‘don’t sprint for 15 seconds straight’. However it would be important to note to not make any of the actions too difficult such as ‘no jumping’ or ‘no sprinting’. There are a lot of other features that you could do to flesh this concept out, but I think it’d be pretty interesting to see what people get up to.

My personal idea is Nine Lives: Every player has Nine Lives At the player's first life, they are a regular player. Every time a player dies, they gain a power (like feather falling 1, extra hearts, resistance) This goes up to 8 powers if a player is on their last life. The twist? These powers can be temporarily gained by killing other players. These are 'stolen powers' that are lost if the player dies, and upon starting their next life, they only start with the powers they should have. A player is green during their first three lives, yellow in the middle three, and red in the last three. And it follows Limited Life's rules of yellows being able to kill greens, and reds operating as usual. The boogeyman is also compatible here, where also like Limited Life, the player gains double the reward when killing a player. They obtain 2 stolen powers instead of 1. I've been working on this concept since Last Life. I have all 8 powers planned in my notes. Also I really like cats so I had to sneak in the pun.

Im gonna try fixing the No life problem, (of No lives being introduced to late into the game): Basically, my idea is a ghost... basically, like a boogeyman, each day a random person will be selected as "the ghost", this does 2 things... firstly, they change into a No Life for that episode, but no one can see there a no life now, (so they have to balance being cautious with not being caught, and ofcourse they will change back to normal at the end of the episode), also unlike no lifes they dont have to kill anyone, because being reverted to your last life for an episode is probably enough Secondly, they turn invisible while crouching... witch is great for killing or sneaking away... but is a dead give away Thridly, (the biggest change and not only for the ghosts), you know how no lives can be targetted by anyone right? Well im changing that... no lives can be targeted by everyone except red players... basically making the 2 most hostile groups targets for eachothers... (this has some problems but ya) Um, you can give some feedback if ya like!

Throughout the entire Life series, Grian hasn't been the Boogeyman AT ALL. He's somehow managed to get -un- lucky enough to avoid it... So I propose a new season: "Run for Your Life." The concept is simple. Everyone has three lives, and if you lose all three lives you're out. The catch is, Grian is ALWAYS the Boogeyman, and has way more lives than everyone, and also has special privileges like access to exclusive commands and stuff. If Grian manages to take out everyone, he wins. But if the others manage to survive and take out Grian then they win (Problem is they would need extra rules to make it fair and balanced... otherwise they could just overwhelm and spawn camp Grian till he's completely dead). XD Better idea... it would be more interesting if there was an entire TEAM of Boogymen, not just Grian. I dunno just throwing out ideas. (This idea is mostly a joke but I bet if they could figure out the logistics it could be fun)

How about: Sheltered Life. First episode starts in peaceful mode with keep inventory on, but it gets progressively more difficult as the series goes on. Difficulty settings ramp up and, about half way through the series, keep inventory is turned off. Maybe they could manipulate “local difficulty” to steadily increase everywhere across the map. Six lives each, 5-6 lives is green, 3-4 is yellow and 1-2 is red. Same rules regarding who can kill who as in limited life. Boogeyman gets nothing upon killing but loses two lives for failing to complete the mission. Someone killed by the boogeyman (or by anyone) loses one life. Subject to change, maybe you do something like all naturally spawned diamonds get deleted for episode four and/or all passive mobs are removed at some stage) so strategy becomes a big part of the series. I think it’d be fun!!!

Ive posted this a few times on diff channels but ill put it here anyway. Ive got an idea for the next ______ Life. What if u called it ‘Secret Life’, where your life is kept secret to the other players and even the audience. You get a random number of lives (like in Last Life), and if you get to red life you can kill 2 people to get 1 life back. Of course, if you kill 1 person people will know youre on red life and so will be wary of you. Because of this, its best to get 2 kills at once so that you immediately go back to yellow life. Over time, lives will go down and more and more people will be revealed as red (or yellow if they kill to get a life back). In the end, its best to die as little as possible and try to sus out red lives so that your life count stays secret for as long as possible. There can also be a boogie to keep things interesting. Finally, an optional addition to this idea could be that yellows and greens can hunt down and kill red lives, so keeping your lives secret is key if you are red. Also, if you’re red, you can team up with other red lives to fight back, so discovering other people on red life is a good strategy, though this could lead to people faking being red to catch reds off guard and so kill them, perhaps giving greens or yellows an additional life.

I know that Grian wants to do another season of the Life series, as he mentioned it at the end of Limited Life. We, of course, have no way of knowing what twist(s) he'll do, but here are some ideas I've had. After Life: not to be confused with the popular mod or the Afterlife SMP, After Life would proceed much like Last Life. However, once you are eliminated, you operate as a ghost, and are bound to defend your teammates and terrorize your opponents. As with all other seasons of the series, allies and friendships are key, but here it is of utmost importance, because if you lose a member of your team, he could turn on you in the "afterlife" and trap your base, so you'd have to make sure that your friends are loyal. The ghost will not have unlimited supplies, so he will have to mine for what he needs. There will be a Boogeyman, like in Last and Limited Life, and that could even be a ghost. If you are alive when you are chosen, you must make a kill or you drop to your red life. If you are red and you fail to get your kill, you are eliminated and must operate as a ghost. If you are a ghost and fail to get your kill, you are out of the series. Dead Life: Like Last Life or Limited Life in that there are more lives. No Boogeyman. Everyone has up to either five lives or ten hours of living time. Upon death or when you run out of time, you join the undead (much like the Demise game from HermitCraft season 6). The point of the undead is to grow their ranks until everyone is dead. This will likely require a bigger map. The undead can die, but other than loss of items, there are no consequences. There will be an undead respawn point, as the undead can't use beds except to sleep. The undead respawn point will be randomly decided upon once the first player is eliminated. The undead's only goal is to kill the living. Pooled Life: Last Life-Double Life mix. You don't share health with another player, but alliances are bonded by a command, and all lives but all friends in the group are shared. For an odd number of lives, the first to die gets a free life. The Boogeyman is severed from all ties until he has made his kill, so he could attack any one of his enemies as well as his allies. Allies can't directly hurt or kill each other. However, if, say, Scar were standing at the edge of a cliff, and BDubs (Scar's ally) accidently punches him off, he could get hurt or die from fall damage. If an ally's name would be in the death description, injury can't happen. (This one I'm coming up with on the spot, so if it sounds undercooked or weird, that's why. The others I've thought of before) There you go. My ideas of possible twists for the next season of the Life series.

I have an idea for the next life series. Half Life. You start with 3 life’s, and when you get a kill, you get half of a life. You can live on half a life, but you would have half health. You could also donate lives, maybe in quarters. This would help encourage killing, and make lives a valid currency again.

Mega life: bigger map, two boogymen, more players 2. multi life: life series but life steal members do something (idk what) 3. magic life: players have 4 lives at the beginning. with each lower life, players receive an enhanced book of some sort. May be random, may follow a certain order. 4. Lucky life: 3rd life + lucky blocks (slightly nerfed to not be too powerful or too dangerous) 5. power life: each session players gain the same new positive effect 6. cursed life: 4-5 lives at the beginning. Two players are the boogyman each round but they both lose hearts as the season goes on -1. real life: die in game die irl

" 1oLife " A life series, when a player takes damage on their lives, they cannot regenerate, and full health is only restored by golden apples, potions, a similar concept to the UHC+ series. The 3 stages is also apart of this, for example : 6+ = Green, 3-5 hearts = Yellow, and 1-3 hearts = Red. There's also a function to give other players spare hearts, using a command like "/givehearts (amount) (username)," which could be helpful for making alliances. There will also be only 1 enchanting table, like in some of the previous series, found in an ancient city somewhere in the map like in a previous series, this may lead to drama considering enchantments would be very useful for this series. Lastly, the boogeyman. When someone is made the boogeynan, they must kill another player, but not the way you think. Once a victim of the boogeyman is murdered, they will lose their lives and go to the stage below them. So if a green if murdered, they turn to yellow, and if a yellow is murdered they turn to red. This only works when you are killed by the boogeyman though, and dying unintentionally caused, will result to being permanently blocked from the server. (So, spectator) IF a boogeyman succeeds in murdering someone, they will gain 1 heart, and if they fail they will face the same consequence as their profound "victim." They will be downgraded to a yellow or red depending on their previous stage. Anyways- i hope you guys like this concept, just thought of it off the top of my head.

Idea-Curse life The hole premise is that at the beginning of each session, one random player gets the cursed, and their goal is to pass on the curse to another player their are 2 ways of doing this 1. Killing another player 2. Having someone take the curse off your hands in a similar way to how you would give players life's in last life If you have the curse by the end of the session, you go down to red.

I actually had an idea for the fifth season called “your life” It takes the idea of combining seasons to its extreme. 4 players are soul bound 3 players have 3 lives 4 players have 2-6 lives 3 players have a timer. Not super balanced but the fifth season is somewhat of a milestone and it would be funny. I also hope they add back gem and Lizzie to the next season, it’s unlikely. But even just seeing them in their one episode was so funny and it made me realize how good of a fit to this series they are.

Here's an idea: Team life. The series would start with everyone being put into random teams of at least 3 people. Everyone would know their team when they are assigned. Each team would then receive a certain number of lives between them, maybe 2 per player in the team. If someone dies no one else in the team dies, but their remaining lives drop by one. This means they could be on their red life even if they didn't die at all. When a team becomes red, the team is broken, meaning that no one else loses a life when their teammates die. They can still choose to work together if they want. Finally, to stop the series being too short, there would be a respawn token. This would be an effect which would be on one person per team. Teams can choose to pass the token around to other people in their team. The token would prevent a teams number of lives dropping if the holder of the token dies. This would only happen once per session and the token is unavailable to red lives.

Life Series suggestion: “Your Life” Premise: At the start of every session, there will be a random number of “assassins”, which are boogiemen, except they can only kill one person, every time the assassin is rolled, whoever is the assassin will be given a name from a green or a yellow player who they must kill before the end of the session. There will always be a minimum of three assassins. The lives will be distributed similar to last life, with extra lives due to the larger amounts of killing, 8-12 per person dished randomly. If you successfully kill your target as an assassin before the end of the session, you gain a life and they lose two (or until they are on red life), otherwise you will be taken down to your red life immediately. Any player can be an assassin regardless of their life count. If you manage to kill your assassin, they will lose two lives (or enough to put them down to their red life), and you will gain one of them, this player will additionally be cured of being an assassin afterwards. If a red name doesn’t kill their target before the end of the session, they’ll remain a red life. If your target, as assassin, ends the session red or becomes red before you can kill them, you’re no longer required to kill them and you become cured of being an assassin. Bonuses: -Life Transferring is brought back -All life counts are secret! The entire tab list will be white, and nobody will know your true count of lives except yourself. The only exception it with red names, where they will appear red to everyone. -Beacon of Life: At a random point every session, the alive players will be allowed to vote for one random player to receive an additional life, which they will gain immediately after everyone has voted, they’re be a command to vote for someone, and you may vote yourself. Once you voted you cannot vote again, and if the votes are tied, nobody will receive the life. Please leave feedback

My idea: Our Life! Basically turns the whole concept around, everybody shares their first lives, meaning they have to protect each other, form big alliances and communicate. In order to keep this from being boring there is a certain task you have to do every episode and there will also be a boogeyman. This boogeymans goal however is to lose a life, if they dont, they lose half of their individual hearts. Once the first lives (2 or more) are lost and they collectively turn red, it is every man for themselves. Last one standing wins.

Cool video! One oversight with One Life that I'd thought I'd point out is that it could go on forever. Basically, in Limited Life, time was a limited resource, in that if you kill someone you gain 30 minutes while they lose an entire hour. That means that if two people kept taking turns killing each other, one person's time would eventually run out and the surviving player would have lost a significant amount of time. In this concept, if you kill someone you gain one heart, while the person killed loses one heart, meaning that if to two people kept taking turns killing each other, it could just go on forever. It definitely wouldn't go on forever, but it would definitely make the series unnecessarily long. The easiest fix is just making it so that if you kill a person you gain one heart and they lose two. Also, I think the concept of someone dying and becoming a "no-life" is a super interesting concept that you should explore and try to solve its problems.

I had an idea for a life series, which would probably need some working out, but could be cool Each player gets three lives. After each death, the player will instead respawn in a different dimension (could be a custom one, or could be just nether and end, but personally i think i would prefer custom ones) Keep inventory is on, since you wouldn't be able to go to get your items from where you spawn after dying. Once only 5 players are left in a dimension, they are teleported to the next dimension. Those players won't get teleported again until they lose 2 lives. Boogey is always applied to the earliest dimension possible. I like this idea because it would mean a lot of improvisation in many areas like building, alliances etc

my idea is... the series is named "anarchy life," recently ive been obsessed with the minecraft series including the life series and the kingdomcraft series which im currently finishing, the idea is they spawn on a map that has every single biome : plains, oak, dark oak, birch, desert, mesa, mangrove... and it has the same rules as you were saying, where they have 3 lifes, and lose hearts in different lives as they die... but each person participating will have their own kingdom, and players have the option to be a king or subject, so either starting a kingdom or serving one. kingdoms dont have a claim function, so people are able to steal if they find the bases, and people arent assigned a biome, instead they pick them. theres also only 1 enchanting table, like in the previous series, which can cause drama among the anarchies. a king will govern their kingdom, while subjects serve them, or just hang out. the boogeyman function still exists, and if a subject killed their king, they immediately own the faction. i also think they should add custom villages around the map, and add custom buildings in the biomes that align with the surrounding premise. thought this was an interesting concept so uh-

One idea I had was "Spleef Life". Green lives aren't allowed to spleef intentionally. Yellows can spleef greens but not reds. Reds can spleef anyone. The Boogey can also spleef anyone regardless what life they're on. Deaths only count if the initial cause is spleefing and the resulting death is not on the same layer. Accidental deaths count. I had two ideas for how the map would be structured. But for both of them, the terrain isn't flat or a one block thick layer like in a normal game of spleef, instead the terrain will look natural but is only a few layers deep, like 5 or 7 or something. 1. There is only one layer so ore and lava distributions are modified to account for this. 2. There are a three layers and a death only counts if you die on any layer below the one you're currently on due to being spleef'd. Top layer is "surface" and is where green lives live. Middle layer is "Underground" and is where yellow lives live. Bottom layer is "Deep dark" and is where red lives live. (Red lives are immune to warden)
